Happy Sunday! Today I have the SuperChic Lacquer Scriptures Collection to share with you!
The SuperChic Lacquer Scriptures collection consists of 8 multi-chrome flake/micro glitter shades that can be used alone over a base color or to build to fully opaque in 2 generous coats. They are thirsty glitters though, so for a completely smooth mani, I recommend 2 coats of top coat.
For each photo my application method was to apply the 1st coat like normal, which makes it look like 2 coats won’t cover it all up (perfect for over a base color) but on the second coat I used the brush to gently dab the glitters and flakes into place. If you brush the second coat on like normal, you might need a 3rd coat to cover in any blank or thinner areas.
Let’s take a closer look at each shade
Crown Of Thorns
Crown Of Thorns is probably my favorite of the 8. Crown of Thorns contains multichrome flakes that shift from red to orange to gold as well as orange matte microglitters. It’s like fire on the nails.
Heaven’s Coordinates
Heaven’s Coordinates contains multichrome flakes that shift from green to blue to purple as well as sky blue matte and purple microglitters.
Entertaining Angels
Entertaining Angels contains multichrome flakes that shift pink, blue, red, purple and copper and has matte hot pink microglitters mixed in.
In The Twinkling Of An Eye
In The Twinkling Of An Eye has blue to purple shifting flakes and matte aqua and white microglitters mixed in.
My Secret Garden
My Secret Garden contains just about all the multichrome flake colors, so you see pink, purple, blue, red, gold, bronze and green flakes and has added yellow matte microglitters.
On A Wing and A Prayer
On A Wing And A Prayer contains green to blue to purple shifting flakes and has matte lilac pink microglitters mixed in.
Quickening
Quickening has fuchsia, purple and blue flakes and matte aqua and red microglitters mixed in.
Sweet Surrender
Sweet Surrender was another favorite of mine from this collection. It has multichrome flakes that shift from green to blue to violet to red and matte lime green microglitters.
SuperChic Lacquer Scriptures Collection
If you like flakes and glitters, you will like this collection. Application can be a bit tricky, but for me the best method was to apply the first coat like a normal polish, then when dry to go back in with the second coat and dabbing the flakes and glitter into place. This helped to have a smoother manicure but to also prevent bald spots and the need for a third coat. I used 2 coats for all the photos shown. 2 coats of top coat is also recommended for a completely smooth look. The glitters and flakes used are thirsty and 1 coat of top coat will look ok for maybe the first hour, but then when everything settles, you will feel a slight texture.
