Halloween Cursed Box

Press Sample of the Halloween Cursed Box

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. When I was younger, I loved dressing up and because I was so little, I could trick or treat without side eye up until I was about 16. I haven’t dressed up in awhile, but now I get to do all this with my son. We actually went costume hunting last weekend for him, so now we’re just counting down the days that he gets to dress up.

Today we’re looking at the Halloween Cursed Box that is available for preorder now!

The Halloween Cursed Box is a collab box between Chirality Nail Polish, LynB Designs, Quixotic Polish and Necessary Evil. It is available for preorder now and will run through October 4th (so you’ll have it in time for Halloween!) Each polish is based on a curse of some sort. Fun concept, right?

You will be able to purchase these shades individually or as a set for a discount. All info will be at the bottom of my post.

Let’s jump right in and see what these brands conjured up!

LynB Designs | May Your Sock Be Ever Twisted

May Your Sock Be Ever Twisted is funny to me. I actually HATE wearing socks for this reason. I usually wear sandal style shoes so I don’t need socks (even in the winter… I’m in California so I can get away with it)

This is a minty green to pale, milky green thermal with red to copper to yellow to green ultrachrome chameleon flakies and purple shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LynB Designs curse: may your sock be always slightly twisted so it’s uncomfortable.

Chirality Polish | Monkey’s Paw

Monkey’s Paw is a bronzey brown with gold shimmer and subtle holographic sparks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

“Monkey’s Paw” is a cautionary tale about unintended outcomes that can accompany good intentions. A curse was placed on the monkey’s paw in order to show that fate ruled people’s lives, and that those who interfered with it did so to their sorrow. Be careful what you wish for….it may come true.

Quixotic Polish | Curse Of The Ouija Board

Curse Of The Ouija Board is a vibrant red toned violet  base with purple to orange shifting shimmer, as well as teal to blue to purple flakes and a scattered holographic effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I think we all have heard tales of what can happen when you mess with a Ouija Board. It’s why I don’t touch them. They are believed to lead to demonic possession.

Necessary Evil | When The Moon Is Full

When The Moon Is Full is a black base packed with red to gold to green shimmer, bronze and green ultra chrome chameleon flakes and a scattered holographic effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This polish is inspired by the curse of the werewolf during the full moon.

Halloween Cursed Box

This is a fun collaboration box with an inspiration that I don’t think I’ve worked with.  I know I’ve done Harry Potter cursed themed stuff, but not this.

Each polish applied incredibly well, and I’m familiar with 3 of the 4 brands in this box. I’ve worked with Chirality, Quixotic and LynB Designs multiple times (especially Polish Pickup) but Necessary Evil was new to me, and I’m happy to say – I enjoyed her polish as well and look forward to more!

This box will arrive in a box that matches the inspiration as well! Be ready!
