May 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box

Press Sample of May 2016
G.N.O.M.E. Box

I have a new to me indie collaboration box to share with you today! The box itself isn’t new, and I’ve heard great things about it, so I was thrilled to have the chance to review it. Here is the May 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box!

May 2016 G.N.OM.E. Box Main

What is a G.N.O.M.E.? It stands for Glitter Nerds Of Magical Existence! Rica and Stardust Polish two brands that are constant in this three polish box, and each month there is a guest maker. May 2016 welcomes Girly Bits Cosmetics into the box!

We all know I’m incredibly familiar with Girly Bits Cosmetics, and I do own some Rica shades (plus I have a collection of hers to show you soon!) but Stardust Polish is new to me, so I was excited to get to try them out!

Let’s look at each polish, and purchasing information will be at the end of the post.

Rica – Gnome Regrets

Rica Gnome Regrets

Gnome Regrets is a bloomsberry purple linear holographic with very soft pink violet shimmer and holographic blue and purple micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Stardust Polish – Take Me Gnome Tonight

Stardust Beauty Take Me GNOME Tonight

Take Me Gnome Tonight is a deep berry linear holographic with a hint of purple shimmer. The first coat seemed fairly sheer, but it built up beautifully in 2 coats. I was expecting to need a third coat, but not so!

Girly Bits Cosmetics – Up To Gnome Good

Girly Bits Up To Gnome Good

Up To Gnome Good is an enchanting royal blue that has both a linear holographic effect as well as some scattered holo, in addition to bright turquoise and fuchsia microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

For my first experience with the G.N.O.M.E. box, I’m extremely happy with it. The shades in the box are nicely done and application was perfect with all 3 shades.
