Recently Color4Nails added another brand to it’s roster – Illyrian Polish! I wasn’t completely familiar with the brand until recently, and I had a major swatchfest with many of their lovely shades last night. The first set of polishes I will be showing you is the Eerie Woodlands Collection.

From what I gathered, the Illyrian Polish Eerie Woodlands Collection came out in 3 parts, and this particular set of 6 shades were from Part 3 of the collection.

Bioluminescent

Bioluminescent is a stunning fuchsia jelly base packed with strong blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Mirkwood

Mirkwood is my favorite of the 6! This is a black tinted jelly base packed with green to copper shifting shimmer and blue to pink shifting flecks. Truly stunning. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer is another gorgeous shade. This is a teal blue holographic with green to copper shifting shimmer and blue to pink shifting flakes.I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Unearthly Whisper

Unearthly Whisper is a dusty blue grey creme with loads of copper shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade dried down to a semi matte finish and was slightly on the thicker side, but not hard to deal with.

Dark Palace

Dark Palace is a dark navy jelly base packed with gold flakes and red iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. 2 normal coats would have done the trick just as nice, but I like extra flakes, so I chose to do 3 thin coats.

Nymph

Nymph is a dusty light blue with pink shimmer throughout. The shimmer is obvious in person, but a little shy for the camera. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Illyrian Polish Eerie Woodlands Collection Overview

Such a beautiful collection! I love the mix of colors – from dark to lighter shades and the finishes are done so well! Mirkwood is my top pick due to it’s shifty nature, but all are worth grabbing. I think I have a shade somewhere similar to Bioluminescent, but the rest? Nope. Those are fairly unique combos to my collection. Application was decent with all 6 shades. I found Unearthly Whisper to be a little on the thicker side, but not difficult. Other than that – perfection!
