Happy Friday everyone! It’s been a long week, and my son’s school actually closed down for today due to the fires up here. We’re about 2 hours from the fire and the air quality is awful, so they ended up closing all of the schools in our area because it wasn’t safe for the kids to be outdoors. All week we’ve been waiting for the various updates from the district, so I’m personally glad they made the decision. I don’t have any breathing issues, but my lungs have been burning all week from it. Last week some ash was actually falling out here.

Anyways, you aren’t here to really hear about me – you’re here for the Tonic Nail Polish Holiday 2018 Collection!

This is actually a 9 piece collection, but one shade hasn’t shown up yet. Lindsey sent it later than the rest – so I’ll pop those photos in once the polish arrives.

Right now, I have 8 shades to share. 3 are velvety mattes, 4 are holographic and 1 is a topper that’s the sister shade to Snow Glowbe released in October.

These release December 2nd, so you have a little time to save up. All details will be at the bottom of the post. Let’s jump into photos!

Tonic Polish | Fireside

Fireside is a deep wine red with shimmer glow flecks in a velvety matte finish. I used 2 coats for these photos. 

Not a matte fan? That’s fine – I will show it below with top coat as well. I’ll be doing this for all the mattes in this release.

Tonic Polish | Jolly Holly

Jolly Holly is another matte shade! This is an emerald green with bright shimmer flecks that shift emerald to blue. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Tonic Polish | Winter’s Night

Winter’s Night is a deep sapphire blue with blue shimmer flecks mixed in that have a slight purple shift at extreme angles, and it has a velvety matte finish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tonic Polish | Santa Baby

Santa Baby is a bright, true red linear holographic with red micro glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tonic Polish | Mr. Bingles

Mr. Bingles is a silver linear holographic with a slight mint to blue shifting shimmer, sterling silver flakes, red multichrome flakes and micro holographic glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tonic Polish | Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland is a light coppery rose gold linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The coppery rose gold shade seems to shift with lighting where some areas will look more copper and others more rose gold or even slightly more gold depending on how the light hits.

Tonic Polish | Underneath The Mistletoe

Underneath The Mistletoe is a deep evergreen linear holographic with micro holographic glitters and a touch of coppery flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tonic Polish | Snow Globe

Snow Globe is the sister shade to Snow Glowbe released in October. This is a topper with red to gold to green shifting original unicorn pee pigment, with iridescent orange to gold to green glitters in both large and small sizes. I used 1 coat over a black creme for these photos.

If you missed the previous version (Snow Glowbe) the main difference is that this one is made without the pink tinted glow in the dark pigment. 

Tonic Polish | Let It Snow

Let It Snow is a deep purple with shimmer fleck glow in a velvety matte finish. The shimmer particles subtlety shift from blue to bright magenta. I used 2 coats for these photos, and I also did top coat for those who aren’t fans of matte.

Tonic Polish | Black Friday

Black Friday is a special gift with purchase shade that will be available on December 2nd only. Black Friday is a black linear holographic with a strong blue flame. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tonic Nail Polish Holiday 2018 Collection

Like I mentioned towards the beginning, I am missing 1 shade from this that should be here any day now – and that’s a purple matte to go along with the other 3 mattes in the set. That one is called Let It Snow. Once it’s here I’ll do photos both with and without top coat and insert the photos.

Overall, I love the additions of the matte shades in this collection and actually really hope to see more (like a hot pink?)

There will also be a $50 Gift With Purchase polish that is with the purple matte shade, so I will include those swatches as well when they arrive.
