I have more Valentine’s Day goodness on the blog tonight! What do I have in store? The Polished by KPT Pure Lust Valentine’s Day Box! When Katherine said she was releasing this box and it was on the way – I couldn’t wait to see it.

The Polished by KPT Pure Lust Valentine’s Day Box brings us a thermal (which Polished by KPT excels at creating) and a gorgeous glittery holo that can be a super glittery topper or a stand alone glitter shade. Plus you get some mani goodies to keep your hands soft and gorgeous.

Let’s take a look at the polishes, then the extra goodies in the box, and afterwards we’ll go over price, release date and where you can get your hands on this fun package.

Lust

Polished by KPT Pure Lust Valentine’s Day Box Lust (cold/hot split) Swatch

Lust is a thermal polish that is a deep red wine when cold (as shown to the left) and a medium cherry red when warm (as shown above on the right) with silver holographic micro glitters and flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat.

Below we’ll look at both warm and cold a little closer, first we’ll see Lust cold, then warm.

 

Pure

Polished by KPT Pure Lust Valentine’s Day Box Pure Swatch

Pure is a multidimensional holographic glitter with platinum flakes mixed in. The glitters are densely packed and range from a shimmer like glitter to small glitters. I used 2 coats for these photos and got great coverage, but you can also use 1 coat over another polish for a lot of sparkle while still allowing the base color to shine through.

This polish isn’t textured much at all which surprised me. I did used 2 coats for these photos, but even if I used 3 – I still don’t think there would have been much texture since the glitters are so small and everything laid really flat on the nail. I used 1 coat of top coat for completely smooth coverage.

Rose Manicure Frizzy

Included in the box was a cute tube of Rose Manicure Frizzy which is a nice way to pamper yourself (it’s like a bath bomb for your hands, but in a loose form so you can use a lot or a little in one sitting) and has a delicate rose scent. It doesn’t smack you in the face with the old woman rose smell (you all know what scent I’m describing) but it’s a mellower rose scent. It is a 1 oz tube, which is the sample size

The Rose Manicure Frizzy is Vegan, Non-GMO, Alcohol Free, Paraben-Free and Hypo Allergenic.

All Is Rosy Cuticle Oil Pen

To compliment the Rose Manicure Frizzy. you will also find an All Is Rosy cuticle oil pen in your package. This is a nice click style pen brush applicator. Much like the Rose Manicure Frizzy, this is a nice rose scent and not too harsh.

Heart Shape French Tip Guides

And last up, for a fun little addition to the box, Polished by KPT has also included heart shaped french tip guides to play with. I was setting up to use these, but Nick woke up with a cold yesterday – so I didn’t have a chance to yet – but keep an eye on my social media – I’ll definitely play with them soon.

This is a really cute Valentine’s Day Box, and honestly – if you haven’t tried out Polished by KPT yet, this is a nice way to start. You get to try out one of her lovely thermals as well as one of her glittery creations PLUS you get some goodies to pamper your nails with as well.

I had no application issues.

If you only wanted one of the polishes within this box, Polished by KPT will release the polishes individually for sale after the 23rd. I think it’s wonderful she will be doing that, because some people are sensitive to scents, no matter how delicate – so this gives people an opportunity to still enjoy the polishes. I do recommend the full box though.
