March 2016 Box

I have a fairly new polish box to show you today, this one is from The Nail Whisperer  which is a stockist in Singapore. So today we will be taking a look at the My Favorite Things March 2016 Box. This is the third box created so far (January being the first) and I have shown the previous 2 already. Make sure to head back to take a look at January and February’s offerings.

March brings us 4 makers with a nice mix of colors and finishes. Makers involved are Celestial Cosmetics, Frenzy Polish, Lacquester, and Literary Lacquers.

This box will be available on March 20th. I know the February box sold out in a matter of hours, so be sure to snag it when you have the chance.

Let’s take a closer look at each shade.

Frenzy Polish – Some Kind Of Magic

Frenzy Polish Some Kind Of Magic is a deep lilac pink jelly base packed with holographic shimmer and microflecks as well as violet and blue micro flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Celestial Cosmetics – Spell Wood

Celestial Cosmetics Spell Wood is a deep but vibrant green scattered holographic that is packed with bronze to green to gold shifting flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Literary Lacquers – Stars Walk Backward

Literary Lacquers Stars Walk Backwards is a deep blue green linear holographic packed with silver holographic microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lacquester – Elven Eyes

Lacquester Elven Eyes is a gorgeous purple crelly base loaded with pink shimmer for a nice flash of color, as well as multichome shifting flakes and a more subtle scattered holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My Favorite Things March 2016 Box Overview

I really love the mix in this box. The various finishes, uses of holo and flakes – just perfect.

All 4 shades were nicely done and the colors really pack a punch. I had no application issues with any of the shades. Lacquester is the only new-to-me brand and this is my second time trying her polish – and so far, I’m impressed!
