It’s time for another Lumen Nails Superstition shade! This month Lumen Nails brings us Dark Wings Dark Words!
Every month in 2023 … right on the 13th.. Lumen Nails will be releasing a shade based on a different superstition. So far we’ve seen Friday the 13th (January), Just My Luck (February), Under The Influence (March), Star Magic (April), Varis (May), Salted Sea (June), Phoenix In The Flames (July) and now… Dark Wings Dark Words!

For August – Lumen Nails took inspiration from an old saying. “Dark wings, dark words” is an old saying about messenger-ravens, referring to the fact that such urgently delivered messages are often bad news.

Dark Wings Dark Words is a medium grey jelly base loaded with green to blue shifting shimmer. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade starts off really sheer – but builds up nicely.

Lumen has been on a roll with the green – blue shifter shades and I’m loving it. The shimmer compliments my skin tone really well.
