Lumen Nails | Papillon Collection & February Myths & Monsters

Happy Monday! I have the Lumen Nails Papillon Collection as well as their February Myths & Monsters to share today!

The Papillon Collection release has 9 new shades and among those are 3 Vintage Velvet shades that are like semi opaque crelly shimmers that can be bases to other sheerer shades like a foundation. All of my swatches are shown alone though so you get a feel for the color as it stands.

To see all 10 shades in this post swatched – check out my YouTube video:

We will start with the Papillon collection, and at the end we will view the February Myths & Monsters monthly shade!

I do use clear gel tips for all of my photos and videos. I don’t use a blurring base or anything that will add opacity to my swatches. I know clear tips aren’t “natural” either – but opacity will still show through. If you have a VNL – if you can see through my gel tips with polish on them – your VNL will shine through as well.

Let’s get onto the show… these do release tomorrow and all links will be available at the bottom of this post.

LUMEN Nails | Chelsea Rose

Chelsea Rose is a soft rose pink crelly base with silver and rose shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LUMEN Nails | White Truffle

White Truffle is a soft taupe leaning grey crelly with silver and what looks like soft chocolate brown shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LUMEN Nails | Birds Egg Blue

Birds Egg Blue is a soft but vibrant sky blue crelly with silvery shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LUMEN Nails | Wild Honey

Wild Honey is a honey yellow jelly base loaded with blue to green to violet soft shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LUMEN Nails | Thistle

Thistle is a pale purple jelly base with pink to gold to orange aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LUMEN Nails | Morpho Glow

Morpho Glow is a super sheer pale violet tinted base loaded with blue to green to violet shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LUMEN Nails | Peony

Peony is a vivid, cool toned magenta jelly base loaded with indigo to purple aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LUMEN Nails | Earl Grey

Earl Grey is a dove grey jelly base with red to gold aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The shimmer in this builds up the opacity but there’s still some visibility of the VNL through it.

LUMEN Nails | Papillon

Papillon is a super sheer deep purple tinted base with strong red to gold to orange to green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LUMEN Nails | Mother of All Dragons (Myths & Monsters for February)

Mother of All Dragons is a sheer almost rusty rose tinted base loaded with pink to blue and red to copper shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
