Another month… another new Superstition shade! For March Lumen Nails will be bringing us Under The Influence!
The 13th of the month is tomorrow… and on the 13th we get a new Lumen Nails Superstition shade. Last month was Just My Luck, and January brought us Friday The 13th… and this month we are looking at Under The Influence.
Under the Influence looks at the superstition that it’s bad luck to walk under a ladder, or if you walk under a ladder in reverse it will reverse your bad fortune. Now I did not know about the reverse thing, and while I’m not superstitious really… in the words of Michael Scott…

LUMEN Nails | Under The Influence
Under The Influence is a royal blue leaning blurple jelly base with red to orange aurora shimmer mixed in. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This leans more blue on me than blurple.
This is not very opaque – so if you have strong VNL it will show through unless you use a blurring base coat. I do use gel tips with clear … so it definitely shows through.
Lumen Nails | Under The Influence
This is a beautiful shade, and it reminds me of when a lot of the Unicorn Pee and Aurora shimmer toppers were releasing, and everyone wanted that stunning royal blue base color to layer it over… except this is that shifty shimmer and base in one bottle. I wanted to matte it – but my matte top coat is due to arrive tomorrow.
