2016 Halloween Trio

Happy Monday! I am kicking off the week with the Glam Polish 2016 Halloween Trio. I have so much planned and just really hope I can make it through it all. This game of catchup is almost complete!

The Glam Polish 2016 Halloween Trio releases every year and it’s always a little different. Every year there is a new Frankenslime shade though, and this year’s might be my favorite! We have a very purple and green theme going this year. To see last years selection (and the 2015 Frankenslime version) check out my Glam Polish 2015 Halloween Trio post!

This trio releases on September 30th along with the Halloween Horror Shop shades (I will have a few of those up to show you in a bit!) so let’s take a look!

Frankenslime 2016

Frankenslime 2016 is a neon green jelly base with ultra holo glitter, neon green glitter in multiple sizes, metallic purple glitter and a holographic shimmer that is more on the subtle side. I used 2 coats and 2 coats of top coat for a smooth finish.

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun is actually my top pick of the trio. This is a chartreuse holographic jelly base with ultra holo glitter, light blue holo glitter and silver holo glitter mixed in, as well as glass flecks. I used 2 coats and 2 coats of glossy top coat for these photos.

Be Careful What You Witch For

Be Careful What You Witch For is a purple tinted holographic base packed with silver holographic, blue, sapphire, purple, lavender, magenta and pink glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Glam Polish 2016 Halloween Trio Overview

Another fun year for the trio! I like that it’s different enough from last years trio to justify getting both. I had no application issues, but because of all the glittery goodness packed in, 2 coats of a nice, thick top coat may be required for a completely smooth finish.
