May 2016 Box

I have been DYING to post the My Favourite Things May 2016 Box! I knew the theme before the April 2016 box went live and was way too excited about it!

This months theme is Alice’s Nightmare in Wonderland and along with the 4 polishes, each box will contain nail decals with Alice in Wonderland themes as well as a cuticle balm made by Lacquester. The polish makers this month will be Lacquester, Emily de Molly, Celestial Cosmetics and Frenzy Polish.

This is the 5th My Favourite Things Box and I’ve had the pleasure of featuring the previous 4 on my blog already. You can check out January, February, March and April by clicking each month if you are new to this particular box and would like to get a feel for them.

Let’s take a look inside the May 2016 box and see what’s in store for you.

Celestial Cosmetics – Exaketededly

Exaketededly is a light blue soft linear holographic with a dash of blue micro flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Frenzy Polish – We’re All Mad Here

We’re All Mad Here is a teal holographic creme with green shimmer, as well as silver and multichrome microflakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Emily de Molly – Fanciful

Fanciful is a light purple, subtle creme holographic with gold micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lacquester – Down The Rabbit Holo

Down The Rabbit Holo is a berry red fuchsia with a gold shift and scattered holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My Favourite Things May 2016 Box Extras

Lacquester included a nail and cuticle balm in a mini pot for these boxes. It is a really nice, creamy balm that is easy to apply and softens up your tips.

Alice in Wonderland water slide decals! These are too adorable. I played with them a bit as well. They transferred really easily – no rips or tears.

Mad Hatter decided to lean on my nail. No biggie though.

This is such a cute box and I love the theme! The extras included with the polish are perfect as well, and I need more cuticle balm for my office since I like to keep it in easy to reach areas.
