I have one more post for you tonight, and if you were ready for some neon action – I’ve got you covered with this post! Here is the Doctor Lacquer Exotic Collection!
This collection is made up of 5 neon pastel cremes. If you liked the Scubaloha collection, a lot of these cremes are nearly identical to the glow in the dark shades of that collection – but without the slightly textured feel and appearance that some glow in the darks have from the pigment needed. So if you were holding off for smooth cremes, this collection is for you. Plus, since they don’t require the glow in the dark pigment, these are a bit less expensive too.
Let’s jump in
Feijoa is a pastel mint neon shade. It’s a bit brighter in person. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Caimito is a pastel lilac neon creme. Probably the least “neon” shade of the collection, but still has a nice brightness to it. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Makopa is a neon bubblegum pink creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Duku is a bright pastel yellow creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Last up we have Mamey – a pastel neon salmon creme. This is actually a LOT bright in person than my photos show. It was freaking out my camera and just wouldn’t capture correctly. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Doctor Lacquer Exotic Collection Overview
This is a fun collection and a nice follow up to Scubaloha for those not interested in glow in the dark shades. I had no application issues with any of the 5 shades and was happy to see that they applied to full opacity in just 2 coats. My favorites were Mamey, Caimito and Makopa
