Spring 2016 Soft Shades Collection

Tonight I have the OPI Spring 2016 Soft Shades collection to share with you! In the past, the OPI Soft Shades usually consisted of an assortment of baby pinks, sheer nudes and pearly glitter toppers, but they stepped away from that for Spring 2016!

This time around we have soft pastels that make up the collection, and I actually like the change. We still get the softer shades OPI goes for with these collections, but with more wearable colors that I personally really love!

OPI – I Am What I Amethyst

OPI I Am What I Amethyst is a light lilac pastel creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

OPI – It’s A Boy!

Probably my favorite of this OPI Spring 2016 Soft Shades collection – OPI It’s A Boy! is a pastel baby blue creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

OPI – Stop I’m Blushing!

OPI – Stop I’m Blushing! is a warm pastel peach creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

OPI – One Chic Chick

OPI One Chic Chick is a soft pastel yellow. It’s a touch lighter in person than my photos show, for some reason my camera always wants to punch up shades like yellow. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

OPI – This Cost Me A Mint

OPI This Cost Me A Mint is a soft pistachio green creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

OPI – It’s In The Clouds

OPI It’s In The Clouds is a soft, slightly off white creme. It isn’t a pure, stark white, so it’s a bit easier on the eyes when wearing, which I prefer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

OPI Spring 2016 Soft Shades Collection Overview

I really like this set of colors. Original? Not really. But I love that OPI didn’t push more baby pink crellies and nudes at us for a Soft Shades collection this year. They do have a pastel formula though, so I found I did need 3 thin coats to get full opacity without any streaks. I found with 3 thin coats, I got good coverage and smooth application.
