Cuticula | Candy Shop Collection

Candy Shop Collection

It’s already been a busy morning/afternoon! The hose that connects the air conditioner to the window decided to disintegrate so I had to go find another one. Home Depot and Lowe’s didn’t have them, so we’re ordering it. Of course when it’s about to be in the 90’s we have to wait for a piece to come in.

Today we’re starting off with the Cuticula Candy Shop Collection!

The Cuticula Candy Shop Collection consists of 4 shades that can be 1 coat cremes or stamping polishes, a holo fleck topper, scented nail tape and a quick dry top coat.

You can purchase each item individually but they will also be available as a full set. Lots of stamping going on in this post too!

Let’s jump in and take a closer look.

Cuticula | Push Pop

Push Pop is a medium turquoise creme. For the index and pinkie I used 1 coat and stamped over a black and white creme.

Cuticula | Gumballs

Gumballs is a blue violet creme. For the index and pinkie I used 1 coat and stamped over a black and white creme.

Cuticula | Sweet Hearts

Sweet Hearts is a rosy pink creme. For the index and pinkie I used 1 coat and stamped over a black and white creme.

Cuticula | Licorice

Licorice is a black creme. I used it to stamp over each shade, including Daydreamer.

Cuticula | Daydreamer

Daydreamer is a silver holo micro flake topper. I used 1 coat over Licorice for these photos.

Cuticula | Gummy Bears Nail Tape

Gummy Bears Nail Tape is a baby pink latex nail tape with blue, aqua and red micro glitters. It’s scented in a light Gummy Bear scent.

Cuticula | Quick Dry Top Coat

I did a mani using everything within this collection!

Licorice is the base, topped by Daydreamer… then I protected my cuticles in preparation of stamping with nail tape in Gummy Bears!

Stamping consists of using Gumballs, Sweet Hearts and Push Pop… then sealed it all in with Quick Dry top coat.

This top coat is unscented and a quick dry formula, so it sealed the mani in quickly. I did find I needed to “float” the top coat to avoid any smearing. For those who don’t know the “float” method – you basically barely touch the brush to the nail, but rather you let the bead of top coat from the brush touch the nail and use the brush to guide that bead over the manicure.

Cuticula | Candy Shop Collection

I really loved the colors released. They mesh well together so it’s easy to use the stamping shades alone or in a combination of stamping to layer the shades.

For the full mani using everything – I used Dixie Plates Marbled 01. For Licorice sprinkles stamping I used Maniology x The Nailasuarus M020 and for the other 3 I used What’s Up Nails B007
