Hello again and happy Wednesday. We’ve got a house full of cooties at the moment, so I’ve been taking care of my son. But I’m back now to share Cuticula Elaine, the November SPrinkle of the Month!
3 months ago Cuticula started introducing monthly SPrinkles. These are Stamping Polishes but also work beautifully as stand alone polish shades if stamping isn’t your thing. Amanda of Cuticula recently lost her grandmother, so she created Elaine for her. It combines 2 of her grandmother’s favorite things, the color blue and her deep love of animals. Because of her deep love of animals, 20% of sales will be donated to the ASPCA.
As usual with charity polishes, I will be making a donation to the ASPCA for the sample bottle I received.
Ready to take a look? This is on a 2 week preorder and this Friday is the end of the preorder.
Cuticula | Elaine
When I first saw Elaine, I immediately wanted to do snowflakes. It was just a beautiful, winter like blue and it really is a strong shade. I stamped Elaine over a sheer neutral base with holo glitters from an OPI polish (I can’t recall which one and I placed the bottle in an undisclosed location apparently…)
Elaine is a sapphire blue scattered holographic with silver micro flakes mixed in for extra sparkle.
Elaine stamps perfectly. I had no issues picking up the images on the first go.
I don’t have photos of it as a stand alone color, but it went on super smooth and sparkly. I had no staining issues either.
