Today I have butter LONDON Wink Eye Pencil in Jaded Jack and Wink Mascara in Brown Sugar to show you!

I will admit that I am an eye and lip cosmetic junkie, so when it came to these I gave my opinion based on my preferences.

Wink Eye Pencil in Jaded Jack

eyeliner

What the name means: Unsung British rock hero.

Jaded Jack is a lime green creme eye pencil.  While I thought the color was pretty, the pencil itself is softer than I like.  I made a line on my upper lid and I couldn’t get a sharp line with it.  Then when I went over the line to even it out a bit, it created a drag mark over the original line, and I wasn’t even pressing very hard.  I ended up wiping the first attempt off and redoing it in one swipe across with moderate pressure.  I got good color, but it wore the tip down a lot.  So I already know I will be sharpening this pencil more than others I use.  Lasting power is really good though.  I actually had to apply some pressure to remove Wink Eye Pencil.  It didn’t budge, smear or flake after a full day of wear either.

Wink Mascara In Brown Sugar

Brown Sugar

What the name means: A fierce blues-rock riff.

Brown Sugar is a chocolate brown creme mascara.  I did like this mascara’s color payoff.  It coated my lashes well in one swipe, but it clumped together a bit as it dried.   Wink Mascara coated my lashes and made them slightly thicker looking, but without any volume or enhancement I normally look for in a mascara.  This will still be used, but more for a natural look.  It was also incredibly wet.  I tried a few tricks, and even kept it unscrewed and opened a few days to thicken the mascara up – but it still was too wet.  I’ll be trying a few more things over the next few days.  Despite the fact that this won’t be my “go to” mascara.  I still want it in Indigo Punk.

You can see what I mean about the mascara clumping a bit in this one.  It didn’t look this clumped when I first applied, it happened over the span of about 10 minutes.  The mascara takes a little too long to dry for me as well.  The other morning I put it on to test it and about 20 minutes after I applied it I sneezed and got lovely mascara marks on my eyelid as well as below my lower lashline from the force of my sneeze.  Quite a lovely sight, I must say.

Unfortunately, the probability of me repurchasing either of these products is low.  I may grab Wink Mascara in Indigo Punk, but that’s a maybe.  While these may be for some people (and I’ve seen some rave reviews) they don’t suit my preferences – especially for the price point.

Prices:

Mascara – $20.00 and is available in 6 shades

Eye Pencil – $18.00 and is available in 6 shades

That green is actually quite nice! I prefer softer eyeliners, so this formula may be for me. In terms of the mascara, that sucks it clumped together! I’m loving the color payoff like you mentioned.

Not a fan of the mascara either. Such a bummer! But that liner is crazy awesome!
