Today I have the BCB Lacquers Movie Quotes Collection to share with you… and this is the brands 4 Year Indieversary Collection!
About 70% of these polishes are black light reactive, but the don’t glow in the dark. I can’t hold my black light flashlight and take photos, so unfortunately I cannot show those images.

This is a 6 pieced collection with easily recognizable movie quotes, and they are bright to neon crelly bases with iridescent flakes and black metallic flakes. Almost all of these were 2 coaters except the blue one – that took 3. I will give that info individually as well.
For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base (which dries clear), and for top coat I used Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased). I didn’t feel that a glitter smoother was necessary because these didn’t dry with much texture.

Ohana Means Family is a bright blue leaning turquoise crelly base with blue to purple flakes, green to blue flakes and black metallic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is the only quote I didn’t recognize.. and it’s from Treasure Planet (which I am not familiar with)
You’ve Got The Markings of Greatness In You is a neon traffic cone orange crelly base with gold to orange flakes and black metallic flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

You Were My New Dream is a neon yellow with chartreuse undertones, with gold to orange flakes, pink to gold flakes and black metallic flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Application of these was absolutely perfection. Neons can be thicker – but these were easy to apply (which you’ll see when the video is complete) and they have a nice punch of color. I personally like the contrast of the black flakes as well.
