Vinyl Disorder Nail Decals Review

by Lisa Heath

I received some nail decals from Vinyl Disorder to try out!

I received 2 different designs, silver holographic hearts and silver holographic stars.  On first glance, I was actually really liking how holographic they were.

Both Decals

First up I tried out the silver holographic heart decals.  I applied 1 heart as an accent nail.  It applied pretty well and was super easy to place and adhered to the nail well, but when I added top coat, the top parts of the heart started to lift.  Not something I want to deal with when wearing nail decals.  I took a photo of the lift and curl that took place below.

Star Decal

Second I tried the silver holographic stars.  I liked these ones much better, and after applying top coat, I didn’t have an issue with lifting (which I expected).  I wore these ones for a full day with no issue at all.  The stars were also more holographic than the hearts were (and I like sparkle!)

Overview

I wasn’t overly impressed with these nail decals, but they weren’t horrible.  I wouldn’t recommend the hearts at all because of the lifting, but the stars were awesome and had better staying power.  There are a lot of designs to choose from, and I think these would be ok if you weren’t planning on wearing long term.

Price: $2.99 for a sheet of 20

Where to Buy: Vinyl Disorder Website

Even though these didn’t work out great for me, looking through the Vinyl Disorder website they have a lot of other products that look awesome!  I really like the large selection of wall decals and the ability to customize orders.  The prices are actually really good in comparison to other sites I’ve seen, so when we’re ready to redecorate my sons room for the millionth time – I will be looking through Vinyl Disorder to get some inspiration and let him pick what he wants on his walls (it has a Toy Story theme going on now).

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Cute! Too bad the hearts weren’t better, but the stars are super cute!
