Rainbow Honey Swatches & Review from Edgy Polish

by Lisa Heath

I have 5 Rainbow Honey shades to share with you tonight provided by Edgy Polish.  Edgy Polish is an online shop located in Sweden that carries a variety of indie shades from makers like Mentality, Dollish Polish, Too Fancy Lacquer and many many more.  I know a lot of my international readers ask about certain indies that don’t ship out of the US, so if you are one of those – Edgy Polish may have you covered!

Rainbow Honey is a brand Edgy Polish carries, and this is actually my first experience with the brand, as well as the online shop – so lets see what my thoughts are!

Cetra

Cetra

Cetra is a sheer pale pinky peach base full of shimmer and iridescent micro glitters.  I used 3 thin coats for these photos.  It looks grittier than it actually is in photos.  In reality, once I applied a top coat, this was incredibly smooth.

Appleberry

Appleberry

Appleberry is a gorgeous glittery top coat full of cranberry, gold and blue glitter plus a sprinkle of blue shimmer in a clear base.  I used 2 coats over a black creme base.

Demeter

Demeter

Demeter was one of my favorites in the collection.  This is a vibrant green foil like polish with pops of metallic green and a hint of gold.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.

Don’t Gingersnap At Me!

Don't Gingersnap At Me full

Don’t Gingersnap At Me! is a clear base with a mix of copper and gold glitter and shimmer within.  I used 1 coat over a black cream base.  Glitter distribution was really good with this top coat!  Plenty came out with each dip of the brush and I didn’t have to work and spreading them out.

Tidal Wave

Tidal Wave

Tidal Wave is a gorgeous aqua jelly base packed with holographic glitter and iridescent shimmer.  I used 3 thin coats for this photo.  Tidal Wave was a little on the thick side, but still fine to work with.  I used 1 coat of top coat to smooth it out.

Overview

All 5 Rainbow Honey nail polishes were good.  Tidal Wave was a little thicker than the rest, but still decent to apply.  Edgy Polish shipped from Sweden and I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the package arrived in the US.  Her communication is amazing and she is quick to answer questions if you have any.

Where To Buy: Edgy Polish Website

I’m really excited to see more international websites carrying a nice variety of indie shades.  While my blog grows, and I have more and more international readers, it can really be disappointing when I’m asked where to buy a polish and have no where to point them to because the brand doesn’t ship internationally.  Edgy Polish carries a lot of brands you already see pretty regularly on my blog like Mentality, Celestial Cosmetics, and Different Dimension.

Make sure to follow Edgy Polish on Facebook to see more swatches and to see what other amazing brands she carries!

Hope you loved the review and I do hope that I’ve been able to show my international readers a new purchasing avenue when looking for some of these amazing indie brands!
