Another month is here – and I have The Holo Hookup November 2018 to share tonight, and the theme is Dragons!
As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!
This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. The guest maker this month is Nvr Enuff!
Each shade in the box has holographic elements of some sort in it. It may be scattered, linear, subtle or in your face, but an element of it is there. Some makers may incorporate other elements such as shimmer, glitter or flakes – but it will be in conjunction with holo.
Let’s jump right in!
Cupcake Polish | Drakon
Drakon is a grape puprle linear holographic with green shimmer and green to blue to purple shifting flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I did some stamping, and found i don’t have a lot of dragon-esque plates.. so I used an Easter plate – and we’re gonna call these Dragon Eggs. Just go with it.
Different Dimension | Fire Breather
Fire Breather is a reddish maroon linear holographic with copper shimmer and silver flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Can’t have a name like Fire Breather and NOT do flames for it!
Glisten & Glow | Dragon Scales
Dragon Scales is a deep green leaning teal linear holographic with blue shimmers. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Apparently I don’t have even a mermaid scale to try to pretend they are dragon scales… so Celtic design it is!
Nvr Enuff | Dragon Kingdom
Dragon Kingdom is a warm, sunshine gold micro flake linear holographic with red to orange to golden chrome shift. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I really love this design over Dragon Kingdom!
The Holo Hookup November 2018 | Dragons
This was a nicely done box this month and all 4 shades have stunning linear holographic effects. All 4 shades are bold color choices and they applied beautifully.
