Happy Monday! It’s a new week, and I had a fairly productive weekend after Friday’s mess. This morning we’re going to be looking at The Holo Hookup September 2019 California Coastline box!
I’m a California girl through and through, so I love this theme. We do have some beautiful coastlines out here, and I grew up camping along some of them with my two sisters, mom and step dad.
As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!
This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. The guest maker this month is Painted Polish!
Each shade in the box has holographic elements of some sort in it. It may be scattered, linear, subtle or in your face, but an element of it is there. Some makers may incorporate other elements such as shimmer, glitter or flakes – but it will be in conjunction with holo.

Cupcake Polish | Mermaids in Malibu
Mermaids in Malibu is a seafoam green linear holographic with red to orange to gold to green shifting aurora shimmer, as well as pink to red to gold to green shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
For stamping on this mani, I used Maniology MXM008 plate.
Different Dimension | Lounging in Laguna Beach
Lounging In Laguna Beach is a peachy beige creme based linear holographic with gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Glisten & Glow | Surf’s Up In Santa Barbara
Surf’s Up In Santa Barbara is an amethyst tinted silver linear holographic with strong purple and red shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
For stamping on this mani, I used Maniology MXM008 plate and What’s Up Nails B020 plate.
Painted Polish | Sandbars In San Diego
Sandbars In San Diego is a sandy light brown linear holographic with cobalt blue and red color shifting metallic flakes and silver ultra holographic glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
For stamping on this mani, I used Maniology MXM008 plate and What’s Up Nails B020 plate.
The Holo Hookup September 2019 | California Coastline
This is a beautifully done box, and the softer shades are helping us ease into Fall. I’m done with Summer, so I’m one of those “Is Fall here yet?!” people… minus the love for pumpkin spice (yuck)
I had no application issues with any of these shades.
