October 2019 | Fall Harvest
The months are flying by! Things have been a little hectic here, but I stuck to my plan and got about 8 posts done this week alone. I still have 2 more to finish this weekend before a whole new week starts. Tonight though, I’m sharing the upcoming The Holo Hookup October 2019 Fall Harvest box!
As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!
This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. The guest maker this month is BLUSH Lacquer!
Each shade in the box has holographic elements of some sort in it. It may be scattered, linear, subtle or in your face, but an element of it is there. Some makers may incorporate other elements such as shimmer, glitter or flakes – but it will be in conjunction with holo.
This month’s theme is Fall Harvest, and I bought all new plates to mess with specifically for this box. Then, as I was getting ready to stamp, I realized I simply don’t own any orange stamping polishes. Not sure how that happened… but it did. Guess I’ll need to buy some.
Anyways, ready to jump in?
Cupcake Polish | Oh My Gourd
Oh My Gourd is a deep olive green linear holographic base packed with silver, gold and bronze microflakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
For the stamping I used Lina Stamping Plate 4 Seasons Autumn 01.
Different Dimension | Hay There!
Hay There! is a medium smokey brown creme based linear holographic with aurora shimmer, ultrachrome chameleon flakes, chameleon flakes, iridescent color shifting flakes holographic micro glitters and holographic micro flakes.
Whew.
There’s a lot going on, and the mix of flakes give off flashes of pink, orange, lime green, copper and violet. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. You might need 2 coats of top coat for a smooth finish if you primarily use a thinner top coat.

Glisten & Glow | Give em’ Pumpkin To Talk About
Give Em’ Pumpkin To Talk About is a burnt orange jelly based linear holographic with added orange to red and purple to yellow ultrachrome chameleon flakes, holo flakes and red aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I used Lina Stamping Plates Spookalicious 02 for this.
BLUSH Lacquer | Fleece’s Pieces
Fleece’s Pieces is a blue leaning teal linear holographic base with shifting pink to gold to green shimmer, violet to pink to gold to green shifting iridescent flakes and holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I used Lina Stamping Plates Spookalicious 02 for this.
The Holo Hookup October 2019 | Fall Harvest
Fall vibes all the way! I had a lot of fun working with these, even though my camera went nuts trying to focus with all the elements sparkling within each polish. Every single polish makes me think of Fall in this box, and it’s perfect for the theme.
I had no application issues with any of these shades.
