Sheswai Nail Lacquers from BeautyPopShop!

Happy Saturday!  I have 3 gorgeous nail lacquers to show you today from a brand that is completely new to me!  Sheswai Nail Lacquer!  I thought I would start this off with a little about the company since I have noticed a few girls who didn’t know who they were.  I first heard about them just a few months ago as well!

After working for several years in some of the best spas and salons in Los Angeles, I knew I wanted to create something more. In 2007, I joined the renowned Cloutier Agency. Having the opportunity to collaborate on shoots for international fashion campaigns, magazine editorials, film and television, has been exciting and inspiring. (You can see my portfolio at www.cloutierremix.com.) As my interests in the beauty, fashion, and wellness industries evolved,  so did my desire to create a collection of lacquer that’s fun, chic, and smart.
It’s Sheswai.

With love & smiles,

I have heard nothing but rave reviews about Sheswai before, so when the opportunity came up to review some of their polishes on BeautyPopShop‘s behalf, I jumped on it!  BeautyPopShop is a cute little online shop that makes custom Nail Polish Racks (amazing quality and they look fabulous!) and they also carry Nail Polish and Cosmetics and go to great lengths to ensure they only carry quality items that live up to their standards!  I have had several occasions to speak to Doria at BeautyPopShop and she is an absolute sweetheart to deal with.  Customer Service is top notch!

Ready to see some Sheswai swatches?

Babe:

Babe is described as a watermelon coral with a bright pop of pink!  Such a perfect description and an amazing summer polish!  It isn’t super bright, but still very noticeable.  I used 3 coats for this mani with a super shiny top coat to finish it off!

Sugar Kiss:

Sugar kiss is so pretty!  The color in the bottle translates perfectly onto the nail!  Sugar Kiss is a medium pink that has a delicate green and pink shimmer throughout.  I only needed 2 coats for this mani, and of the 3 polishes I swatched, this one had the fastest dry time!

FuckYeah:

Ok, I realize the name of this one is and will be offending to some.  I’m not here to criticize names, I am just here to review polishes.  This one was my favorite of the three polishes.  Such a difficult color to photograph as well!  I had to mess with camera settings so the flash wouldn’t be too bright, otherwise the color was way off!  FuckYeah is a vibrant violet fuchsia with a satin finish.  I applied a top coat for my photo to make it glossy (my preference!).  I used 2 coats to complete this mani.  Seriously stunning color!

Sheswai Lacquers are the Big 3 Free, which I know is important to many polish lovers!  Their bottles are incredibly cute too!  Each cap is made from sustainably harvested wood, grown on family owned tree farms, which reduces  the use of plastic!  The formula on these polish was really good!  Babe needed the most coats and seemed to be the thinnest of the 3, but was still easy to apply and wasn’t watery!

BeautyPopShop recently started carrying Sheswai Nail Lacquers and you can find them HERE

Need a new polish rack to keep all those new polishes in order?  Make sure you check those out HERE

Have any questions? I’m sure BeautyPopShop will be happy to answer them on their Facebook Page!

Sheswai retails for $16.00 per bottle.  Each bottle is .5 fl oz (15 ml)

This might be a little weird but… I have serious issue with the polish’s names. I don’t know. I wouldn’t mind wearing a “Phallic” but I would mind wearing a “Fuckyeah”

That being said, I think the colors are gorgeous, the finish looks amazing and your nails are to die for.

Names of polishes just don’t bother me like they would some people. If I was out and someone asked me what color it was, I would have an easier time telling them F Yeah over Phallic though lol.

I think it’s awesome. In fact, I would buy these JUST for the names! It’s not to often you see people utilizing their sense of humor anymore because there’s always someone out there who has to get offended. I say KICK ASS!! :)
