Save The Undies with U by Kotex

I might get into a little TMI on this post, but it doesn’t happen often around here, so once in awhile, I think it’s ok.

Several of my girlfriends and I joke about the fact we have different panties for different occasions.  We have our date ones, our comfy ones… and we have ones that are dedicated just for ‘that time of the month.’

Unfortunately for me though, I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and my time of the month is unpredictable!  Most months I go through the motions – the cramping, the bloating, but then nothing happens.  It’s torture!

U group

For the months it DOES happen though, I don’t want to be caught unprepared.  No way am I chancing an accident at work or out on a date night!  With my luck I’ll be wearing one of my favorite pairs of panties too, and those will be ruined on top of already being embarrassed.

U package

The new U by Kotex ultra thin pad with 3D Capture Core has a one-of-a-kind center that locks away wetness to help stop leaks and is now available in  Cleanwear pads, AllNighter pads and Security pads.

U core

New U by Kotex Ultra Thin Pads with 3D Capture Core make it easy and more comfortable for me to have protection around my time of the month, whether I actually have my period or not.

No more accidents, surprises or ruined undies!

Want to try a Free Sample?  Head over to the U by Kotex page and all you have to do is click “Get Sample” and then enter your mailing information!  It’s that easy!

Huge thank you to Kotex for sponsoring today’s discussion and helping me #savetheundies!

Love the fun color coverings. So happy they finally made these products look like fun rather than something to be hidden away

These look so cute. I love the cool colors. Gotta love a great feminine care product for sure.

I totally did it.

There have been a few companies trying to get our attention for these products so we can’t even be embarrassed anymore. It’s part of our life to need pantiliners so why not make them pretty like these?

I love how these pads make getting your period seem like a nice and pretty thing. Ha!

The colors of the pads certainly liven up the extremely unpleasant time of the month!

I also have PCOS. I was surprised you mentioned not knowing when it was coming – every doctor I’ve seen has strongly advocated for me to be on birth control to control it for a variety of reasons in relation to PCOS. As long as yours in manageable without it, good for you!

That said, this is the brand I use, and I LOVE them. I’ve always been a Kotex fan, but something about these just suits my needs better. I do admit the wrappers are cute!

I actually am on birth control, still it’s not regulated. I can go up to 14 months without a real cycle then have 3 in a row and then another year without.

Alicia July 19, 2014 - 1:40 pm

Oh goodness. Bless your heart.

PCOS really sucks some times.

Lisa Heath July 19, 2014 - 8:13 pm

Yeah it does. Over the last 6 years they’ve changed my BC a few times, but nothing seems to regulate it.

I got samples of these in the mail the other week!

I have PCOS, too, and I feel your pain. I have to be prepared all the time because Aunt Flo doesn’t call or write ahead of time, and she pops by at the worst possible moments.
