PÜR Cosmetics HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation is a new foundation to the PÜR Cosmetics family!

PUR Hydrofluid

What’s different about PÜR Cosmetics HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation? It’s a lightweight, luminous foundation that covers while also hydrating your skin. I was a little worried at first because I actually have an oily complexion. I am more drawn to powder foundations because of this. I don’t want to go to work with a product that slides off my face, so I wore it on a Sunday at home first and was actually really impressed with it.

PÜR Cosmetics HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation comes in 5 shades. Light, Medium Tan, Dark and Deep. For me, Light was the best option.

The packaging is really nicely done. They come in convenient squeeze tubes with a small clear section in the front that shows the color within the tube. Each tube has 30ml of product within it and the tip is a hard plastic, clear piece. One little thing is that the tubes don’t actually say which shade is within them, so although there are only 5 shades, you will need to remember what shade you purchased if you toss the box.

PÜR Cosmetics HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation is a water based foundation that is so incredibly lightweight and almost feels like I’m wearing no face makeup, which is really nice. It is formulated to help firm, smooth and lift your skin’s appearance to give a youthful, radiant appearance. It contains the purest water sourced from the Swiss Alps. Water sourced from the Swiss Alps is known for its high purity and is the ideal mineral water to refresh skin .

I only needed 3 drops of the PÜR Cosmetics HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation to cover my entire face and a little definitely goes a LONG way, so you don’t want to overdo it. I use a Beauty Blender to apply, and absolutely love the final result! I get light to medium coverage using the HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation and you can build up if you need more coverage.

Yeah it is different, but definitely better than I expected

I tend to prefer powder foundations as well but recently read that water-based foundations were actually great for oily skin, as the skin produces more oil when it is dehydrated. Your FOTD is flawless! I second Jessica – what gorgeous lipstick is that?

Lisa Heath February 8, 2016 - 8:16 am

Thank you! The lipstick is Trinket by Sugarpill

I love this foundation but they definitely need to add a Fair shade. Although, like for me, you made Light work, Fair would have been even better

This foundation looks great on you. It can be a little scary to go from powder to cream but it was well worth the switch for you.

Lisa Heath February 8, 2016 - 2:51 pm

It’s not that the switch is scary really, it’s because my skin can get so oily that finding a cream/liquid foundation that doesn’t slide around is a miracle.

I like the formula on this but I wish they’d do a neutral fair. :D

This looks great on you!

This looks beautiful on you! I want to try it but am afraid it may be too sheer for me.

I need to get to Ulta to test out the color of this. It looks great on you but I’m still afraid the light isn’t light enough.

I like this as well. I just need to mix Light and Medium to get the “right” shade
