Pretty & Polished Swatch Spam!

Pretty & Polished Swatch Spam!

Happy Hump Day!  The week is almost over already and I have a day off!  That means some more spam for you all!  Today is a pretty well known indie polish maker – Pretty & Polished!

Hello Dolly:

I’m kicking this one off with my favorite of the group – Hello Dolly!  This is a clear based polish with tiny lavender, pink and white hex glitters, larger clear hot pink hex glitters and some small holo glitter particles.  This is one coat over Jade Solar Capricho Violeta.  I had to fish around for the larger pink hex glitters, but it was worth it!

Freedom Calling:

Freedom Calling has various sized red, white, silver and blue hex glitter, silver square glitter and silver, red, white and blue bar glitter.  I like the overall look of this one, but the bar glitters gave me trouble and I ended up picking some off of my nails.  They weren’t curled but they wouldn’t lay flat.

Elvis’ Pink Cadillac:

Elvis’ Pink Cadillac is a pretty bubblegum pink jelly polish with small and medium sized black hex’s.  I didn’t get many medium black hexes out of this one, but I still really liked the overall look of it!

Jawbreaker:

This is an amazing polish and looks so much like the candy!  A white jelly base with multi colored small and medium hex glitters along with medium red square glitter.  I used 2 coats for this mani and it covered amazingly well.

Punk’d Up Betty:

I liked this one, but I didn’t love it.  I think the large pearly white hex glitter threw me off.  Before I got one out of the bottle I liked the look of the small black and hot pink hexes.  When I use it again I may avoid the larger hexes.  I only used 1 coat for this mani (you get a LOT of glitters with each brush dip) over a pink creme from Color Club (I got the pink in a Ross Set and am unsure of the name).

Tart:

Tart is a light shimmery lavender base with small purple glitter particles, white, blue and gold small hex glitters and medium red hex glitters and larger white hexes.  I used 3 coats for this mani.

Party On My Yacht:

Party On My Yacht is a sheer white based polish with gold, pink, purple, and green hex glitter as well as scattered blue bar glitter.  This one has a lot of glitter in it and needs a top coat to smooth out, but it’s worth it.  Very pretty!  I used 2 coats for this mani.

Sand Art:

Sand Art is made up of blue, green, pink and purple matte glitters.  Because they are matte they don’t have the sparkle like other polishes and I really am liking the look.  I used 1 coat of Sand Art over Megan Miller Caribbean and I really like the combo!

I do own other Pretty & Polished creations and they are all different from each other, which I love.  I’m sure more spam will be coming your way soon!
