If you’ve been reading my blog for a bit, you know by now that I have to own any and all purples. Eye shadows, polish… even lipstick, if it’s purple – I need it. When Polished by KPT said she had sent a new collection to me and it was an entirely purple toned collection, I stalked my mail lady. More than usual. When The After 7 Collection arrived I ripped that bad boy open and admired each of the 7 shades. It was worth the stalking. All purples. Polished by KPT is after my heart.
This collection contains 7 different purple polishes with a great mixture of chameleon/multichromes, glitters, holographics, and flakes. Let’s take a look at these 7 shades that make up The After 7 Collection!
Light It Up
Light It Up is a multichrome flake polish packed with holographic particles. This is a holo glitter topper that shifts from purple to violet to green to gold. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos, but below these series of photos I will show Light It Up over a black creme as well.
Light It Up Over Black
For these photos I used 1 coat of Light It Up over a black creme.
Nix is the second topper in the collection. This is also a multichrome flake topper mixed with holographic shimmer. This one shifts from violet to blue to green to gold. I used 3 coats with a glossy top coat for these photos. Below these photos I’ll show Nix over a black creme.
Nix Over Black Creme
Here is 1 coat of Nix over a black creme.
Hypnotic is a chameleon polish that transitions from a purple to violet to red with a hint of gold. It’s packed with green to orange to gold color shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
Selene is my favorite of the group! Selene is a reddish copper to violet shifting linear holographic polish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Unspoken is a multichrome base that shifts from red to violet to green to gold with a linear holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Dream Weaver is a purple linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Solitude is a chameleon linear holographic polish that shifts from light violet to gold to a purple with a hint of blue. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Polished by KPT The After 7 Collection Overview
This collection makes my heart SING! So many stunning purples in one place. Of course the downside is – if you don’t love purples, this may not be for you – but it has a lovely selection to choose from if you like or love purple shades! My top picks are Selene, Light It Up and Unspoken – but all will get a lot of love from me.
