NOTD – Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily
I’m actually starting to make my way through some of my untrieds. I’ve been so busy with reviews I haven’t had a ton of time to enjoy the purchases I actually made, but I decided I needed to make time after swatch fests to play with my own pretties that I purchased!
During the Rescue Beauty Lounge BiB Sale I decided to buy Aqua Lily. I missed out on it the first time around and I was determined to get it on the second go. I own about 12 RBL’s, but this one is definitely a top love for me. I previously wore Scrangie and wasn’t all that impressed with it :( I still have it because its Scrangie… and that was my first blogger obsession.
So here is Aqua Lily!
This is 2 coats. A gorgeous aqua blue with pink shimmer that makes it simply GLOW. Application wise, this went on smooth and issue free. It did stain my nails a tiny bit though when I removed it. I had base coat on, but it seemed to stain in the small are nearest my skin that I must have missed. The color is fabulous though and even if I got a serious case of smurf nails from it, I would still wear it again and again.
I added the last photo so you can see the gorgeous pink shimmer in the bottle. I don’t know why I waited so long to wear this one!
Unfortunately Aqua Lily can only be found now through Ebay or various swap/selling groups. Be prepared for possible jaw dropping prices though. I know a few ladies I have come across selling their Aqua Lily off for reasonable prices or a fair trade, but others need more of a boost to let it out of their grasp!
I purchased mine from the RBL website HERE for $18.00. There are still some BiB colors available if you wanted to grab one of the other gorgeous colors!
