Milani has a new assortment of goodies out on the market and I have a few items to show you. First up will be the Milani Stay Put Brow Color in 04 Brunette and 03 Medium Brown.

Milani Stay Put Brow Color is available in 5 shades from 01 Soft Brown all the way to 05 Dark Brown. The colors I received are 03 and 04, so the 2 I will show you are in the middle of the shades and 2nd to darkest.

03 Medium Brown

03 Medium Brown Product

03 Medium Brown is perfect for those with medium brown hair (I guess I’m stating the obvious). Usually this would be my color if I didn’t dye my hair all the time.

04 Brunette

04 Brunette Product

04 Brunette is a perfect match for my currently dyed hair. It’s a deeper brown with the slightest red tinge to it.

Each package of Milani Stay Put Brow Color also comes with a dual ended brush. One end is a slanted eyebrow brush, the other is a spoolie. I find this convenient and the brush seems to be of decent quality.

Since 04 Brunette was perfect for my current hair color, I did used it to test it out on wear. I wasn’t planning on going anywhere today so it’s the only makeup I wore and I had it on all day around the house.

Milani Stay Put Brow Color Overview

Cover

Personally, I thought these were pretty nice. Quality was good and the product itself wasn’t too creamy, but it wasn’t too stiff either. Application was easy and the pigmentation was nice. After 8 hours of wear at this point, it’s faded just a little, but I didn’t experience any flaking or rubbing off. It hasn’t smeared onto my surrounding skin either, so that’s a plus.

Price: $7.49 Each

These reminded me a bit of Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade, but a little firmer in formula. If you are on a budget, I think these are a nice alternative.

Have you tried the Milani Stay Put Brow Color yet? What do you think?

I like to switch between pencils and pomades for my brows, depending on my mood. I think I’d need a darker brown, though.

I’m definitely more accustomed to pencils and those are my preference – but every once in awhile I play with pomades. They have 1 more shade of brown thats darker than what I showed!

I would skip these. I don’t get along well with the brow pomades. I end up with freak brows from outer space. I’m better off with pencils. lol

I use to do be like that! First time I tried a gel/pomade I was SO unprepared! Pencils are more my style, but I’m definitely better at applying these now!

This is so neat. I think Brunette will suit my brows. Must try next

They are a nice bang for your buck. The staying power is what has me hooked

I LOVE Milani, and my 58-year-old disappearing brows need help, but I’m not sure there’s a shade for me in this product, since I have black-brown hair and need a cool dark brown. “Brunette” looks like it would be too red for me.
I guess I’ll try e.l.f. and NYX.

Great results on you! Brunette is a nice shade. You’re right, my first thought was that the packaging was exactly like ABH Dipbrow Pomade!

It is a lot like ABH! Definitely a nice alternative to those who don’t want to drop 18 a pop on these!

I’d love to see the lightest one. This looks like a great product for the price point!

I love the look of the angled brush and spoolie combo. Both shades look nice. Because I have red hair, finding a color that works for me is always a chore.

When I had red hair, I couldn’t find a color that worked for me on my brows. All 5 shades of the Milani ones are basically light ash brown to deep brown, so I don’t think a good red alternative is in there

Oooh I like how Milani is on its game with these brow colors. I think the darkest shade is a bit more ashy so maybe it’s worth a scope to see if I can find it in stores!

Milani is definitely my favorite drugstore brand for that exact reason!

I think I’d go for the brunette shade. 8 hours of wear isn’t too bad.

Lisa Heath August 10, 2015 - 5:21 pm

I was expecting maybe 5, so I was rather happy with 8

The colors both look a tad too warm for me, but sounds like the formula is good!

They do lean warm, the lighter shades looked to lean a little more on the cool side, but they are a lighter ash brown

I just can’t give my my pencils–I’m too lazy for anything else!

My pencils are my babies when it comes to my brows so I get it!

My favorite product is the IT Cosmetics Brow Gel but it would be nice to have a less expensive alternative. I alternate between the IT and Pixi’s brow powder palette. I wish the Brunette for Milani was a little cooler toned.

Their darker shades (03-05) seem to be warmer, but the 2 lighter (01-02) seem to be cool toned. Hopefully if these go over well they will expand to carry more cool toned in the darker range (as well as warmer in the lighter range!)

I like how these colors blend into your brows. It certainly makes it worth the effort.

I’ve tried so many products similar to this so I’d love to give this a go. It’d be great to find an excellent one at that inexpensive price point!

The formula looks great but the colors look way too warm for me.

I’m always on the look out for new brow products, so I will definitely be giving this a shot.

I LOVE Milani, and am always happy when they come out with new stuff!
But I am NW15 with green eyes and black/brown hair, and both of these shades seem either too red or too yellow for me. I may have to look elsewhere.. :(
