Mentality Nail Polish The Stampers Part 1 Swatches & Review

by Lisa Heath

***Added 7/23/15 – please read this announcement ***

If you have purchased from Mentality from April 2015 – June 2015 and you are experiencing sensitivity, itchiness or burning, please contact Mentality directly to have your polishes replaced. Their email is [email protected]

I personally did NOT experience any reactions when using these polishes, but many did. Please know I would have been fully transparent had I known the damage that was being caused. Again, please read the announcement above and by clicking on it, you will be taken to Mentality’s initial statement regarding the issue.

Today I’m kicking off Mentality Week on my blog!  I have so many of their gorgeous polishes to show you and I guarantee there is a little something for everyone!

To start, I’m showing Part 1 of The Stampers Collection!  The Mentality Stampers collection is actually pretty large, which is awesome.  If you are into stamping, the Mentality shop is a great place to look for unique shades that stamp over virtually any shade, regardless of whether they are light or dark bases.

The 9 shades I have to show you today all have a duochrome effect AND a subtle holo to them.  For each photo I have the polish itself painted on the index, middle and pinkie, then I have the same shade stamped over a black creme on the ring finger.  So even if you aren’t into stamping, you can still snag these polishes because they are great for use either way.  Also, for color accuracy, refer to the first photo in each set.  These are taken in normal lighting (my kitchen).  The second photo for each set is under a light so you can see the subtle holo as well as a stronger duochrome effect, but it tends to make the polish shade a little darker than it usually is.

Overview

If you are looking for some unique stamping polishes, this set of The Stampers is definitely a set you should look at!  The color are vibrant, application is easy and even a fairly new stamper like me can use them!  All 9 shades dry to a semi gloss shade, so I use top coat over each photo to gloss them up.  They dry pretty fast in comparison to other polishes as well, so you aren’t waiting around for too long to top coat the polish as well as the stamped images.

Price: $7.75 each

These are beautiful polishes! I’ve never tried this brand but I really love what I’ve seen so far. And yes, your stamping is beautiful, I love the contrasting accent. PERFECT!
