Lolita Lacquer NEW Summer 2016 Hand Care items, and I have some to show you on the blog tonight!

I was sent some sugar scrub singles and mani bombs that are new to the Lolita Lacquer lineup. Lolita Lacquer is a new brand to me, so I was excited to have the chance to try out some of their goodies. I will say that when I opened the box – the aroma of all the scents together was AMAZING. I was sniffing each item and they all smelled so good – and they mingled well together too!

STARFISH SUGAR SCRUB SINGLES

IMG_3499

First up we have the Lolita Lacquer Starfish Solid Sugar Scrub Singles! These have a berry lemonade scent to them, and might be my favorite of all the scents. I received a jar of 10, and since they are individual stars, they are easy to use without digging out a scoop. I just removed 1, wet my hands and started breaking it up in my hand and scrubbing.

Sugar Scrubs are great for gently exfoliating your skin and getting rid of dead skin cells. I used these on my hands, and then on my legs after a shower and they made both SILKY smooth. They have shea butter and sunflower oil in them which help with that silky feeling.

After a long swatch session, I like to use these on my hands to exfoliate and soften my abused fingers.

Next up we have the mani bombs!

These are FABULOUS! I like the assortment of scents and shapes I received. All 5 mingle well with the Starfish Sugar Scrub too if you use them back to back – so no worry about the scents clashing!

The mani bombs we’ll be taking a closer look at are: Starfish, Perla, Perla Negra, Salted Caramel and Tiki Man-i!

Starfish Mani Bomb

Starfish Mani Bombs are scented in a sweet tropical fruit medley. Very sweet!

Perla Mani Bomb

Let’s take a moment to look at the shimmer on this one… cause I love it!

Perla is a lighter scent and I really can’t quite put my finger on what it is. Lolita Lacquer says it’s scented to what they imagine pearls would smell like if they had a scent. It’s dusted with a light shimmer as well for that pearlescent look.

Perla Negra Mani Bomb

IMG_3530

Perla Negra Mani Bomb will turn your mani water pitch black! It’s AMAZING. None of the color transfers to your fingers either – so no worries there! This has a muskier scent that’s on the lighter side.

Salted Caramel Mani Bomb

The Salted Caramel Mani Bomb smells sweet like caramel with a hit of salty sea air. It’s an interesting scent and definitely different than any others I’ve tried.

Tiki Man-i Bomb

This guy is just freaking adorable. Tiki Man-i Bomb is scented with fresh pineapple, casaba melon and creamy coconut – so it will seriously give you a Caribbean scent experience! I found this one to have the strongest scent of the 5 mani bombs.

Lolita Lacquer NEW Summer 2016 Hand Care Overview

Lolita Lacquer NEW Summer 2016 Hand Care

These were FABULOUS! All of the items are slightly larger than a quarter (for size comparison) and really packed a punch. As I said, the scents all mingled nicely and I could smell all of them when I opened my package up. My favorites of the items were the Starfish Sugar Scrub Singles, Perla Mani Bomb, Tiki Man-i Bomb and Starfish Mani Bomb.

Both the sugar scrubs and mani bombs left my hands and cuticles feeling soft and lightly fragranced. The sugar scrubs can be used anywhere on the body too – so for me they will get a lot of use on my hands and freshly waxed or shaven legs.

Price: $6.50 for 10 Starfish Sugar Scrub Singles | $1.00 – $1.25 Each for Mani Bombs

I had no idea you could get a single scrub, but was a brilliant idea. I am definitely making an order, for the mani bombs too!

The single scrubs are great! I hate getting it under my nails when scooping out (when my child has carried off the spoon somewhere). That’s genius!
