Guess what time it is! It’s time to see The Holo Hookup October 2017 Ballroom Dance!
This month’s theme is Ballroom Dancing and each maker took on a different ballroom dance for inspiration. As usual, I will show you the inspiration photos below!
As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!
This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. Each month there will also be one “guest” contributor, and for October 2017 the guest maker is BLUSH Lacquers!
I own several BLUSH Lacquers, so I can say with certainty that it’s an amazing brand to own!
Let’s see what they have in store for us this month!
Cupcake Polish – Paso Doble
Cupcake Polish took on Paso Doble and it’s a warm red jelly based linear holographic with silver shimmer and silver micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Different Dimension – Samba
Different Dimension Samba is a pink leaning plum linear holographic with additional silver flakes and silver holographic microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. You may need 2 coats of top coat for a completely smooth finish due to the microglitters and flakes.
Glisten & Glow – Rumba
Glisten & Glow Rumba is a medium turquoise linear holographic with silver holographic microglitters and itty bitty blue shimmers. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
BLUSH Lacquers – Cha-Cha-Cha!
BLUSH Lacquers Cha-Cha-Cha! is a coppery orange linear holographic with added coppery pink shimmers. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The Holo Hookup October 2017 Ballroom Dance
Every time a new Holo Hookup package arrives, I’m always amazed at how different the inspiration is. Month after month we see inspiration that is just different from other boxes and themes.
I really love the variety of colors this month and the inspiration they were drawn from. I had no application issues with any of the shades.

What a beautiful concept and the execution with the polishes is perfect. These creators have made some great polishes.

All these look gorgeous!
These are really pretty but especially the Glisten & Glow. I wish I could purchase it seperately. I can’t always afford the whole box anymore but oh man, one by one and I’d be in Heaven.
