Girly Bits Concert Series: Flowers in Your Hair and Bawitdaba Swatch & Review

by Lisa Heath

Girly Bits has added 3 new shades to her Concert Series Collection and I have 2 of them to show you today!  The Girly Bits Concert Series consists of shades that are inspired by bands that Girly Bits has seen live this year!  I will be showing you Flowers In Your Hair (inspired by The Lumineers) and Bawitdaba (inspired by Kid Rock).  The third polish is Lay Down With Number 13 (inspired by The Black Crowes) which I do not have, but I will include a peek at the bottom that was in the press release that Girly Bits sent out today!

Flowers In Your Hair

Flowers In Your Hair 1

When we were younger we thought
Everyone was on our side
Then we grew a little bit
And romanticized the time I saw
Flowers in your hair
It takes a boy to live
It takes a man to pretend he was there

Flowers In Your Hair is a milk chocolate brown crelly base loaded with fuchsia shimmer and fuchsia circle glitters.  I used 3 coats for this photo and a glossy top coat.  This polish was inspired by The Lumineers!

So I’m willing to bet 90% of people reading this know who inspired this polish.  Kid Rock!  Bawitdaba is a gunmetal shimmer with black, gray and red glitters of various sizes.  I used 2 coats for this photo and a glossy top coat.

Lay Down With Number 13

Lay Down with Number 13

This is Pam’s swatch which was in the email I received.  Lay Down with Number 13 was inspired by The Black Crowes and is a deep forest green shimmer with pinpoint gold and sparks of magenta.  Very pretty!!
