Peat Perfection Mask
I have a few skincare reviews lined up to share with you, but I’m going to start with one that I absolutely fell in love with. FarmHouse Fresh Peat Perfection Mask!
I have been into masks since my mid 20’s. Before that? I thought they were a waste of time, but I thought wrong. For the longest time I did a cleanser, maybe an exfoliator and moisturizer if I remembered. Now I have a whole arsenal of skin care goods and this is one of my staples. I tested this for a month and a half and even bought a second jar when the one I was sent ran low.
My biggest problem with finding the right skin care is that I have combination skin. If I find one that combats the dry patches, I get too oily. If I find one that combats the oil, my face dries up and flakes. Some things I tried didn’t help either issue AND broke me out. Not fun.
So what is FarmHouse Fresh Peat Perfection Mask?
Okay so it’s not the prettiest looking mask. I’ll admit to that. BUT it works. The FarmHouse Fresh Peat Perfection Mask is rich in vital nutrients and is a calming peat vegetative mask. It’s Dermatologist-tested, age-old peat mud, flush with organic bionutrients which developed over thousands of years from plants and minerals. The FarmHouse Fresh Peat Perfection Mask rapidly relieves and instantly soothes skin irritations. Plus, Kaolin clay helps balance oils and pull impurities away, making pores look smaller.
Panthenol pulls in and locks in hydration and Allantoin cools skin and has fatty acids from safflower oil to help protect skin’s barrier function making it gentle enough to use daily. I used it every 2 days or so, which was perfect for my skin.
My skin got the boost of moisture it needs, but also has ingredients that help balance the oils, so it’s perfect for combination skin.
After a week of using every other day, there was a visible difference in my skins texture. It also has a nice cooling effect which was amazing in the hotter months. It felt so nice and relaxing, plus my skin loved it. No break outs, no dry patches and no oil slick. Complete winner for me.

I’ve never heard of a peat mask before, but I’d love to try it. I love the way masks make my face feel.
I’ve used all kinds of masks, but I’ve never had the opportunity to try a peat mask. I’ll have to give this a shot.

I have dry/combo skin and it works great for me. I only use it about once every two weeks but it gives me a boost when I use it. FHF products are pretty amazing.
I remember learning about how peat bogs preserve bodies for centuries. This is definitely worth a try!

I had never heard of the Farm Fresh brand before this post! I love the concept of this brand so I will definitely be checking out their website and hopefully be placing an order. I have a whole bunch of teacher gifts to buy in the next few weeks.
I love this mask. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth and it’s not drying.
I haven’t tried using a mask on my face. This one looks like mud which is a bit intimidating even though I am sure that it has amazing benefits.
I love using facial masks because I feel like they really clear out all of the levels of dirt and grime on my face. Although the mask looks kind of thick and is a weird color, this is right up my alley!
