Citrus Cilantro Body Oil
Lately I’ve been seeing the brand FarmHouse Fresh all over the place, and beauty bloggers have been raving about the products. When I was asked to review the FarmHouse Fresh Citrus Cilantro Body Oil, I said “yes” because I needed to know what all the fuss was about!
Face and body oils have been gaining popularity over the past few years, and while I was incredibly hesitant to try them – once I did I was hooked. Body oils will lock moisture into your skin for hours, while body lotions rub off more quickly. When your skin has a healthy balance of moisture, it feels soft and supple. As long as you only use a little, and massage the oil in properly, you won’t walk away feeling like a greasy mess either! Less is more with body oils!
Citrus Cilantro Body Oil by FarmHouse Fresh® is a subtle blend of light, botanical oils that fragrance skin with a soft floral and citrus aroma. What I really liked was that it didn’t smell perfumy or strong. When I apply it to my skin, it soaks in fairly quickly and leaves a crisp, fresh scent that lingers. I can actually skip any other fragrance for the day since it lingers for so long.
FarmHouse Fresh Body Oil can be used in your bath water directly, or apply directly to skin as a light but deeply hydrating body oil. I prefer to apply it directly, mainly for the scent and for the direct moisture. This is a vitamin-rich body oil that brings an instantly silky, soothing feel to skin. It contains antioxidant rich olive fruit and grapeseed oils combined with orange peel, jojoba, sunflower seed and apricot kernel oils to nourish and calm even sensitive skin types.
I absolutely fell in love with the FarmHouse Fresh Citrus Cilantro Body Oil! I can completely skip my usual fragrance and just apply a little bit of this instead and smell crisp, clean and fresh! It comes in a hefty glass bottle with an easy to use pump dispenser. After my morning shower, I pump a little body oil into my hands and massage into my drier areas (elbows, knees, shoulders) then smooth it out over my arms and legs.

I’m enjoying this body oil too! The scent does linger but it is a nice fragrance.
Right? It lingers and isn’t too strong.
I absolutely love Farmhouse Fresh and I would love t try this oil. I like them right after my shower, while my skin is still wet. Tho that might be a bad idea with wet hands, in my shower…
That’s how I prefer to apply it, then I wrap a towel on and do my hair and makeup while it dries down!
I used it yesterday for the first time and I am in love with it. I have the FF Gooseberry which is a stronger scent that lingers more so it’s nice to have one a little more subtle. The way my skin feels after using this is wonderful.
Gooseberry is actually one I wanted to check out next!
I’ve also been seeing this brand everywhere lately! I love citrus, but I’m wondering how the cilantro plays in. Don’t get me wrong, I love cilantro it smells so yummy…not sure I’d want my body to smell like it though haha
To me, it mellows out the citrus and gives it a slightly more earthy scent so you don’t smell like straight citrus. They actually mingle really well together!
