a-England is just one of those polish brands that everyone who loves polish should experience at least once! Trust me when I say though, if you get ahold of one of their polishes – you will continue to buy them! When they showed up in my mailbox from Color4Nails – I was ecstatic!
The Ballerina Collection consists of 4 delicate and gorgeous holographic shades that look amazing both with and without stronger lighting. If you’ve used A-England polishes before, you know they have amazing formulas and apply with ease.
As usual with these photos, please refer to the first photo for color accuracy. The first photo is always taken in normal lighting with no flash or strong, closeup lighting. The second photo is taken with artificial lighting to show the holographic properties and any color shifts the polish has.
Dancing with Nureyev
Dancing With Nureyev is a gorgeous blue shade with a scattered holo effect. My favorite of the 4! I used 2 coats for this photo.
Fonteyn
Fonteyn is a pale silvery lilac with a tightly scattered holo effect. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Her Rose Adagio
Her Rose Adagio is a pale rosey silver with a tightly scattered holo effect. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Encore Margot
Encore Margot is a gorgeous silver with a hint of a blue tinge and has a tightly scattered holo. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Overview
Another great collection from A-England! All of these apply so smooth it’s incredible. I had absolutely no application issues, no cuticle flooding and everything dried down to a nice smooth finish. Top coat does not alter the holographic appearance of these shades either.

I love A-England polishes. St. George is one of my absolute all-time fave polishes ever. At first, I only thought I wanted Her Rose Adagio from the Ballerina collex, but I had the chance to get them all, and I’m glad I did. They are so subtle, but beautiful. Her Rose Adagio is still my fave of this collection, though!
