I have a series of posts to throw at you today, and I’m so excited for each one. I was hoping to get some of these posted over the weekend, but my little boy turned 11 on Friday and his party was Saturday, so it was busy busy all weekend!
First up today I have a fab indie collab box to share! Crellycrate ReVamped: Smoke & Mirrors!

Deviousness! It’s a celebration of delicious trickery. Smoke And Mirrors Day is dedicated to the art of fraudulent cunning. The phrase “It’s all smoke and mirrors’ refers to the way in which magicians use all manner of distraction to make sure the audience fails to see what’s really going on. The more complex the artifice, the more successfully the magician will get away with it.
I actually really like the idea behind this. We see a lot of typical holidays on a regular basis, so to do one based on such a unique holiday is refreshing.
The Crellycrate ReVamped: Smoke & Mirrors box consists of 6 polishes and a lip tint. I am familiar with each of the 6 polish brands, but the lip tint brand was new to me!

Polish ‘M The House Always Wins
Polish ‘M The House Always Wins is a creamy black base with black galaxy holo glitter, grey micro glitter, grey micro flakes and silver holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Dreamland Lacquer The Illusionist
Dreamland Lacquers The Illusionist is a turquoise leaning blue crelly base with holo microglitters and purple shimmer for a flash of color. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Because of the microglitters in a crelly base, you might need 2 coats of top coat to completely smooth.
Cameo Colours Lacquers Stop Chasing Me!
Cameo Colours Lacquers Stop Chasing Me! is an olive green jelly base with blue shimmer and densely packed scattered holographic sparkle, as well as blue, bronze, and silver holographic micro flakes and gold flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Tonic Polish The Babe With The Power
Tonic Polish The Babe With The Power is an interesting shade. This is a dark smokey grey creme with blue to purple to red shifting multichrome shimmer, as well as silver micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This has a really hazy, smokey look that I’m kind of fascinated with.
Lemming Lacquer The Magician’s Fire
Lemming Lacquer The Magician’s Fire is an ultramarine jelly base with orange holographic microglitters and gold to orange to bronze flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Painted Polish Card Tricks & Carousels
Painted Polish Card Tricks & Carousels is a turquoise crelly base with copper, turquoise and orange holographic glitters mixed in. Love love LOVE the pops of orange against the turquoise base! I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Midnight Beauty The Art Of Misdirection
The final item in this fab box is Midnight Beauty The Art Of Misdirection! This is a lip tint in a nice rosey pink shade with a delicate iridescent gold shimmer. This has an ultra hydrating formula too, so your lips look and feel nice and soft.
Crellycrate ReVamped: Smoke & Mirrors Overview
This is a really fabulous box and each polish is magical! This is the first time I’ve reviewed a collab box that was 2 different Facebook groups coming together like this, and I hope it happens more often. There is a nice mix of colors going on and the lip tint is perfect for everyday use.

The instant I saw Card Tricks & Carousels I knew I had to have this box!!
Isn’t that one beautiful! Most of the Painted POlish shades I own are holo or microglittery filled polishes, so I was thrilled to see her hand at a glitter crelly.
I like The Magicians Fire and Card Tricks & Carousels. Great price for this box, too.
