I have another Color Club collection for you tonight with a love feel to it! This isn’t specifically a Valentine’s Day collection but it makes for a really good one!
This is a 7 piece collection and they are all shades that are scented when dry. The scent is a little on the stronger side, so if you are sensitive to scents you may want to be careful with them.
Sweet Getaway
Sweet Getaway is the neon of the collection! This is a neon medium pink. I used 3 thin coats for this photo. This is scented rose and I love the color, but I actually cannot handle strong rose scents, so sadly I won’t reach for it too much.
Tall Dark And Handsome
Tall Dark and Handsome is a deep grey creme with a cologne scent. I found the scent on this one to be ok and it actually did smell faintly of a men’s cologne. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Seal It With A Kiss
Seal It With A Kiss is one of my favorites from this scent both for the color and for the scent. This is a peachy pink creme and smells of strawberries! I used 2 coats for this photo.
50 Shades of Love
50 Shades Of Love is a red and pearl white heart shaped glitter top coat. The red hearts seem to be flaking their paint though, so the clear base also has some small red “shreds” within it. 50 Shades of Love is a candy scent, but incredibly faint. I paired it in these photos with Tall Dark and Handsome (not the best scent pairing FYI!)
Red-Handed
Red-Handed is a cool toned red creme. I used 2 coats for this photo and this is scented a cinnamon and it’s faint.
On Cloud Nine
On Cloud Nine is a white creme that is scented white chocolate and it was actually a nice scent. I used 3 thin coats for this photo and had some streaking issues on the first 2 coats.
Jitters
So this photo looks a bit different than the others. When I received these shades I put this one on and took a quick shot of it. Then I dropped it on accident a day later after I removed the polish. So, you get the snap shot and not the real shot … sorry!
Jitters is a fun rosy pink and silver holographic micro glitter polish. I used 2 coats for this photo and a top coat. This smells like “bubbly” which is champagne and the scent was ok. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t horrible, it was on the stronger side though.
Overview
Overall this is a decent collection and my top picks are Seal It With A Kiss, Jitters and Sweet Getaway (for the color not the scent). It would have been a perfect Valentine’s Day collection!
Application wise I only really had issues with On Cloud Nine, but the streaks were evened out in 3 coats.
