Where’s the Harry Potter fans? You are sure to love this collection! Bohemian Polish has released The Moste Potente Potions Collection and it’s pretty amazing.  This is my first real experience with the brand and it’s definitely a good one. I received the full collection, plus Flash Dry top coat and the fabulous cuticle oil in the scent Butterbeer.

Let’s take a look.

Flash Dry

Flash Dry

I’m going to start with the top coat. Flash Dry was used for all of the swatches you’ll see in this post. It dried fairly fast, had a nice thickness to it and gave a glassy finish.

The top coat is not 5-free as it contains both DBP and camphor.

Candied Cuticles Cuticle Oil

Butter Beer Cuticle Oil

The cuticle oil was amazing. The scent is Butterbeer which is a delicious scent of butterscotch and cream soda.

For me, this is a night time oil, I found it on the heavier side (not a bad thing) but it did soak in very easily. I prefer this type of oil to be used at night and I basically slather it on and let it sit and soak in. It definitely helped my cuticles which are adjusting to the weird weather we’re having lately and have been dryer than normal.

Price: $4.25

Ok now onto the 7 piece The Moste Potente Potions Collection

See No Dreams

See No Dreams

You can rest easy wearing this polish without worrying about You-Know-Who or his masked goons finding you, but there’s no need to take Dreamless Sleep!

See No Dreams is a soft purple holographic polish with purple-to-blue color shifting glitter. I used 3 thin coats and Flash Dry top coat for these photos.

Love Potion No. 9 ¾

Love Potion No 934

Made with Amortentia in mind, this polish will make you fall under its spell with its smooth and sparkly finish

Love Potion No. 9 ¾ is a bubblegum pink holographic polish with iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Half-Life

Half Life

Unlike the others on this list, Half-Life is not a potion at all but a cursed ingredient, unicorn blood. Drinking this gives the user a cursed existence, so settle for putting this on your nails and being a magical unicorn instead.

Half-Life is a silver linear holographic polish with a metallic finish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Don’t Mind the Steam

Don't Mind The Steam

Like Pepperup Potion, this bold polish will have you feeling fabulous in no time.

Don’t Mind the Steam is a magenta holographic polish with golden shimmer. This is probably my second favorite of the collection. The gold shimmer is really an amazing touch to this. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Steal Your Face

Steal Your Face

Unlike Polyjuice Potion, you won’t have to drink this polish to get the full shifty effect!

Steal Your Face is a green holographic polish with green-to-red color shifting shimmer. This one surprised me. I wasn’t expecting to like it but I do. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Furry Little Problem Solver

Furry Little Problem Solver

Furry Little Problem Solver is our newest addition to the Slug and Jiggers cosmetic potion line! Inspired by Wolfsbane Potion, this bright blue holographic polish has iridescent flakes that bottle the moon and tame the wild werewolf within.

Another beauty. Furry Little Problem Solver is a (as mentioned above) bright blue scattered holographic polish with iridescent flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a top coat for these photos.

Liquid Luck

Liquid Luck

Like Felix Felicis, you can do no wrong with this polish!

Liquid Luck is a warm golden-orange holographic polish with warm gold glitter. It’s a bit darker in person than in my photos. For some reason the color wanted to photograph more pastel like and it’s not pastel. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bohemian Polish The Moste Potente Potions Collection Overview

PicMonkey Collage

Overall I think this was a nicely done collection. Some of the shades look a bit more Spring like for me – but I don’t mind. Some shades like Steal Your Face are pretty much perfect for Fall. Application was good on all of the shades. Most shades were good in 2 coats but a couple needed 3.

Price: $9.00 Each | $55.00 Full Collection

Great swatches! I love this collection thought I wish the colors were a bit darker in tone so they could fit the season better.

I’ve never heard of this brand but I am in love with this collection. I like how the color are bold but still muted shades.
