Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer has a new 5 piece collection of cremes releasing tomorrow, and they are based off of Flight of the Conchords. I have all 5 shades to share with you tonight – so get ready for the Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer Foux du Fafa Collection!

These aren’t your typical shades to see in the Spring, and I kinda like that. All 5 shades are designed to stamp and water marble, but it’s been a hectic week, so I didn’t have time to test either – but I hope to be able to this weekend.

Robo-Aggression

Robo-Aggression is a medium grey creme. I found this to be a little on the thick side. It still self leveled nicely. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

We’re Vincible

We’re Vincible is a mustard yellow creme. It’s a little toned down in person, my camera wanted to make it brighter. Not a color I would usually reach for, but I was rather impressed that it looked decent with my skin tone. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Rent Boy

Rent Boy is a vampy, deep scarlet creme. My favorite of the 5! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Too Many Misters

Too Many Misters is a deep forest green creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ignore the glitter speck. Not sure where it came from, but I think it was on my top coat brush.

Freaky Dream

Freaky Dream is a blackened indigo creme. This shade was so hard to capture! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer Foux du Fafa Collection Overview

This definitely feels like a Fall collection, but after doing a lot of neons for China Glaze – it was a nice change for my camera (and my eyes!) Application wise, the only one that I had a little trouble with was Robo-Agression. It was on the thick side, but not impossible to deal with. Otherwise – all the shades applied nicely.
