I have a special shade by B Polished on the blog today! This is B Polished Friends by Choice and it is part of My Lacquer Cabinet’s Polish From A Picture Series.

If you haven’t seen My Lacquer Cabinet’s Polish From A Picture series before, basically she provides a photo to various indie makers and each one creates a polish based on the photo provided. The inspiration photo is below.

So this was the inspiration for the polish. It’s a photo of My Lacquer Cabinet and her mom and sisters at a family wedding a couple years ago.

Let’s see how B Polished translated the picture into a polish.

Friends by Choice

Friends by Choice is a hot pink jelly base packed with iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Application wise, this was incredibly smooth. I was expecting a little hassle with all the flakes packed in, but everything behaved rather well.

And then I added B Polished Make It Matte top coat… cause, why not?

I love how the flakes give the polish a gold undertone

I like this one a lot, plus I am a huge fan of those translucent/opal flakies, it looks great matte.

I wouldn’t usually wear a pink like this but the flakies make it so pretty
