This past February a new indie subscription box entered the scene.  This isn’t a monthly box, it’s released every other month – so they have done a February, April, and June box so far, and today I have the August 2015 Addicted to Holos Indie Box swatches and review to reveal to you!

This gorgeous box is made up of 5 polishes created by Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer, Philly Loves Lacquer, The Polish Bar, Literary Lacquers and Sweet Heart Polish.  This is basically a dream team mashup and a wonderful way to try 5 fabulous brands!

The final shade in the August Addicted to Holos Indie Box is from The Polish Bar! This is Surf Blue and it is a light aqua linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

August Addicted to Holos Indie Box Overview

This is a well rounded box that has a bit of brightness and scales to slightly darker Fall toned shades. As an end of Summer transition approaches, this box definitely leads us into that feel. We start off with Literary Lacquers and The Polish Bar still giving us a toned down Summer vibe, but Philly Loves Lacquers, Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer and Sweet Heart Polish bright us right into Fall. Beautiful transition, beautifully executed.

All 5 of these polishes are exclusive to the August Addicted To Holos box, so you will not find them individually in the makers shops.
