365 Days of Color HIMYM Collection Swatches and Review

365 Days of Color is releasing a collection based on the tv show How I Met Your Mother!  I absolutely LOVE this show and it’s always good for a few chuckles.  Those who watch the show will get some of the polish names.  Regardless of if you watch the show or not though… you will love these polishes!

Marshmallow and Lily Pad

Marshmallow and Lily Pad is named after one of the cutest couple on TV.  Marshmallow and Lily Pad is the nicknames Marshal and Lily gave each other!  This is a is a white crelly base with pink metallic, green metallic, and lime green holo glitter in different sizes.  I used 3 coats on its own for this photo!

Nobody Asked You, PATRICE!

Nobody Asked You, PATRICE! is named after the woman who works with Robin at World Wide News, and that annoys the heck out of Robin!  Nobody Asked You, PATRICE! Is a glitter top coat with different sizes and shapes of purple, pink and silver glitter.  I used 1 coat over Color Club Wicker Park.

Ducky Tie

When Barney loses a bet to Marshall and Lily, he has to wear this hideous ducky tie for a whole year (until of course he gets sick of it and trades the tie for more slaps!) Ducky Tie is a glitter top coat filled with yellow and cream matte glitters in different sized hexes and dots,  orange metallic glitter and micro blue glitter! just like a little rubber ducky!  I used 1 coat of Ducky Tie over Zoya Ginger.

Pulling It Off

Ted always does things a little differently from everyone else. Take for example the red cowboy boots he decided to buy while he was dating Robin and then actually believed they looked good on him! Even though the gang told him they were ugly, he really thought he was pulling it off!  Pulling It Off is a clear base with different sized red glitter and holographic glitter!  I used 1 coat over OPI La-Positively Hot!

Pass The Sandwich

Because Ted is narrating each of these stories to his two children, he doesn’t want them to know exactly how bad he and his friends were when they were younger. This is why any time Ted wants to talk about smoking a specific type of drug, he uses the word sandwiches.  Pass the sandwich is a glitter top coat polish filled with different color green and cream glitter  glitters in different shapes including dots.  I used 1 coat over OPI Sit Under The Apple Tree.

Nothing Suits Me Like A Suit

My favorite sociopath of all time has got to be Barney Stinson; and the fact that he’s always in a suit makes him that much better!  Nothing Suits Me Like A Suit is a black and white glitter top coat base with different shapes and sizes of black and white glitter along with black holographic glitter.  I used 1 coat over Zoya Laney!

And that wraps up the HIMYM collection!  I love the names Sunny picked for this collection and the glitter combos are perfect!

My top picks: Nothing Suits Me Like A Suit, Marshmallow and Lily Pad and Nobody Asked You, PATRICE!
