Giveaway Items Gifted by DRK Nails
I know I have been doing these a little more sporadically than intended, but work has been fairly stressful and it was end of semester for Jacob, so lots of testing and studying was going on. I do still have several fun giveaways to do for my 10 year blog anniversary and today it’s DRK Nails turn!
Instead of a polish – DRK Nails created a custom kit for myself and 1 lucky winner. The only thing missing is the polish bottles – so you will have to provide those for yourself. But Katia asked what colors and finishes I loved… and she curated a kit just for my anniversary!
Now a little about what’s going on with this month:
To celebrate my 10 years of constant posts – I have asked for maker volunteers to create a custom polish for a series of giveaways! Each maker donated at least 2 bottles of a custom – one for me to swatch and keep for the milestone and one to giveaway.
While they made the custom for my blog – makers were given permission to release the custom at a later date. Not all will do this – some literally made it but didn’t save a recipe while others do intend to release it later. So I did make sure there was no exclusivity to the polish, and it’s up to the makers discretion.
Each maker had free rein to create what they wished to. I am a swatcher and not a maker for a reason and each individual maker has their own signature touch.
10 Year Blog Anniversary | DRK Nails
My favorite color is purple, so Katia curated a mostly purple type box. The only thing you will have to provide are the bottles. I ordered a set of bottles but they all arrived broken, so I haven’t actually created anything yet, but I didn’t want to hold up the giveaway any longer.
I will update when the new bottles arrive – but in the meantime, scroll down and see all the fun goodies (including reflective glitter!) that will be in the kit.
I will have a new giveaway up each day . Because of my schedule – I will draw winners for all giveaways ending that previous week on Sunday nights. I have each item in my possession so I will contact each winner for shipping information and then ship within 5 business days of receiving the shipping information.

I will only display the winners name on the widget AFTER the winner has responded to my email notifying they have won. I will be emailing from [email protected] – so please make sure the email is not in spam. If I have not received a response in 10 business days, I will draw a new winner and previous winner will forfeit their prize.
I display the names after because I have had people try to create emails and claim to be the winner before.
I will provide tracking for each winner. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once I ship, it’s out of my hands and I do not have replacement bottles.
Giveaway is open to EVERYONE. I will ship internationally for this because I want everyone who has followed along with me over the last 10 years to have a chance. Again though, if the package is missing, lost, stolen or confiscated on the way – I am not responsible for it and I will not be replacing.
I have made entering requirements easy. There are mandatory entries and one optional. The optional is only if you want an additional entry. The mandatory one you can come back daily to do as well if you wish to for more entries.

I’ve loved every single thing I’ve ever bought from Katia, she’s amazing. I’ve been wanting that dark cherry pigment so bad for ages!
Just got my bottles so I can finally play around with my HoHo-Holiday lab from PPU!
I loved the first scientist Lab box. It was such a fun and unique way to sell polish.

A favourite is hard to choose, as I have so much fun with the DRK kits.
BUT I will choose the one polish, I wasn’t able to get at the time and still haven’t seen it in any destash, (UK) which doesn’t surprise me, as it is a beauty.

I got her original kit and the Grinchmas one. Now, I continue to purchase supplies from her lab kit page. I have made so many fun color with all the sparkles and flakies. It’s so much fun to become a “mad” scientist and just play. Sometimes I have one idea and it completely turns into something else. It’s amazing what you can create!

I absolutely love my kits but the magnetic topper katia makes is hands down my favourite and has helped me get great results even from tricky magnetics!

Thanks for doing this! My favorite DRK item is definitely the labs, and though I love them all (I bought several) I have to say my favorite is the first one DRK sold on PPU I believe in August 2020, it opened up a new world of fun and creativity for me!

Happy Blogaversary! 10 years is a long time to keep a blog — I know because I always try to start one and give up after about a week lol.
Anyway I love the DRK nails creation labs! I have bought every single one — sometimes multiples.
I always wanted to try to make nail polish and this kit is the perfect way to introduce all the many different components you need to start making nail polish. Now it’s a treasured hobby of mine and in fact I’d love to make my own little brand one day!
Katia from Drk nails is a polish genius in her own right of course. I really loved PuriFire which was an homage to the original unicorn pee pigment found in Max Factor’s Fantasy Fire polish. It’s a stunning polish which I have two bottles of because I know it’s going to be heavily used. ;)

My favorite DRK polish is Bad Hair Day: Mine is On from the July 2018 exclusive for Hella Handmade Creations. This kit is a chemists polish lover’s dream! So excited to see a reflective polish component, I don’t have a reflective polish yet.

I’ve purchased nearly every lab Katia has offered and additional ingredients. Making polish got me through lockdown. It’s hard to choose a favorite, but I think the purple lover’s lab is in the top 5. Katia is so generous with her advice and assistance.
Those kits are so cool, but I never let myself get one for fear of starting another hobby.
I love the kits (Grinch was my first, I think) but also many if they DRK polishes are standouts. Great formulas and also effects.

I love DRK’s magnetic top coat. I struggle with getting and keeping crisp lines with magnetic polishes and the top coat has been a game changer.

DRK magnetic top coat has changed my life! I was ready to give up on magnetics all together before it saved the day.

The Be Just & Merciful & Brave box set from the 09/19 HHC got me into indie polish in the first place. I’d seen Pampered Polishes swatch indies before, but seeing A Royal Unicorn was the first time I HAD to have one. It’s still one of the most gorgeous toppers in my collection.
I would love to try any of the polish making kits. I have DRK Good Ben, which is gorgeous.
