I was busy today! I just showed you Zoya’s Focus Collection for Fall 2015, and as most people know, Zoya usually puts out 2 6 piece collections every season – so now I have Flair to show you!

Focus was the toned down creme collection and Flair brings us some shimmery Fall shades. I did get to see these early at CPNA and they looked beautiful, but now I get to put them on… so let’s see if they lived up to my expectations!

Estelle

Estelle is a metallic blue with blue shimmer. Zoya describes it as a blue on blue liquid metal with a blackened base, but I didn’t find it dark enough to be referred to as a blacked base.

I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat.

Aggie

Aggie was the shade I couldn’t wait to put on, but I do feel a little let down by it. This is a slight shifter and has strong gold/bronze shifts with bronze microglitter.  In the bottle you see a greenish blue shift as well, but I just couldn’t see it on the nail. In some angles I thought I saw it, but it was incredibly slight and more of a golden green shift. My photos bring out a ton of the bronze, but in person the bronze isn’t quite as strong.

There is also the SLIGHTEST holo in it. I almost didn’t believe it was there but they are really such small specks and so hard to see – I wouldn’t really count it. If you look in the above photo – in the bottle by the “A” you can see a twinkle of holo. That’s it. Very deceiving though and if you are looking for a strong holo sparkle – you will be disappointed.

The photo below shows the shift a bit – it’s the best I could photograph.

Ember

Ember is a gorgeous firey red metallic. This one impressed me and has a glowy quality. 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is another winner from this collection. Cinnamon is a beautiful chocolate brown with bronze shimmer throughout. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat.

Giada

Zoya Fall 2015 Flair Collection Overview

Overview

Much like the Focus collection – I found Flair to have great application. One thing I was quite thrilled about was the lack of brush strokes visible on such shimmer packed shades. All 6 of the Flair shades only needed 2 coats and a glossy top coat – it’s been awhile since I’ve had zero application issues in both sets of Zoya polishes released.

Between Focus and Flair – I do think Flair is my favorite of the two Zoya Fall collections. Focus was pretty – but Flair has the extra oomph. My top picks are Estelle, Cinnamon and Giada. Aggie had promise, but it fell a little short for me because the shift in the bottle didn’t translate to the nail like I had hoped it would. It’s still pretty – I think I just high expectations for it.

Cinnamon is for me and I love how deep the purple is in Giada. And in spite of your disappointment in Aggie, I’m still so curious about it

I’m obsessed with all things Zoya always! I haven’t had a chance to swatch these yet since I’ve been out of town but I can’t wait to do it. :)

I’m so excited to wear some of these. Where I get my nails done they usually get in everything Zoya. There are some shades for fall like Aggie, Giada and Cinnamon that I will love wearing.

These are all SO stunning! I really like the royal purple (Giada), it’s absolutely gorgeous, if only my nails looked like yours! lol
