Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection

Press Sample Who’s ready to see what more Fall goodies? I have the Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection here to show you! For some reason I always feel like Fall and Winter collections are generally Zoya’s stronger collections. I do love their Spring and Summer, but Fall and Winter seem to have more of the oohhh ahhh type colors in them. For Fall 2017 there are a mix of lighter, more office friendly neutrals and then an assortment of deeper, vampy shades. For me, this 12 piece collection covers a lot of ground as far as the color selection. Within these 12 shades we have some cremes, some metallics and some shimmery pearly shades to choose from. Let’s jump on in. Zoya Mckenna Mckenna is a softer almond creme with a pearl finish. While I liked this color on me, the formula was a tad on the thick side and didn’t…

I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Cora Zoya Cora is a bright orange toned coral creme. It’s a touch pinker in person. I used 2 coats…

There are also 3 lipsticks for Spring (only 1 is a new shade though) and I’ll have that up in a separate post for the Zoya lipsticks! Let’s jump right in. Millie Millie is probably my favorite of the shimmers, and possible of the full collection. Millie is a fuchsia violet jelly like base packed with blue and violet shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Amira Amira is a soft dusty blue crelly base packed with gold and aqua shimmers, as well as gold microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Some of the shimmers in Amira were a little larger and…

Zoya Fall 2016 Urban Grunge One Coat Creams Collection

Press Sample Zoya Fall 2016 Urban Grunge One Coat Creams Collection Yesterday I showed you the Zoya Fall 2016 Urban Grunge Metallic Holos Collection, and tonight I have the Zoya Fall 2016 Urban Grunge One Coat Creams Collection! Before we really dig into this, I have to say that I was slightly disappointed in this collection. While I love some of the colors – I didn’t find any of them to truly be one coat creams. It also feels like they sacrificed a good consistency for the sake of trying to achieve one coat creams. Of the 6 shades, I only was really happy with how 2 performed and that’s disappointing since I usually find the majority of Zoya’s polishes to have amazing application. I would prefer their normal formula, requiring 2 coats to thicker 1 coat formulas. However, if you like a thicker consistency, then maybe these are more for you. Let’s…
