Wantable September 2014 Makeup Box Reveal

by Lisa Heath

Press Sample

Over the next couple days I have 3 of the September Wantable boxes to show you.  Wantable is a subscription service that lets you customize what kind of items you will receive in your boxes each month.  They have 4 different types of monthly boxes too!  You can choose (and customize) either a makeup box, an accessory box, an intimates box… and newly introduced – a fitness box!

All Makeup

First up I will be showing you the September makeup box!

MUD Cheek Color

Blush

MUD Cheek Color is super soft and silky and incredibly pigmented.  Its a little too dark for my skin, but the silky feeling makes me want to check out more of their colors.

Retail Price: $17.50

Liberty Republic Spellbound Nail Lacquer in Premonition

Premonition

Premonition is a blackened teal shade that is amazing.  This is my first Liberty Republic Spellbound Lacquer and is part of the Darkside collection… which you have a chance of winning in my collab giveaway with Wantable (haven’t entered yet?  Go check it out!)

I know this looks black in the photo, but trust me… it’s DEEP blacked teal.  This is a brand you really need to check out.

Retail Price: $14.00

Ora Magic Roulette Concealer

Ofra

I’ve been wanting to purchase a concealer palette like this for awhile.  The different shades within this creamy concealer palette help to cover skin issues such as dark under eye circles, skin redness, etc for a more even tone.

Retail Price: $29.95

Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow

Mineral Eyeshadow

Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in Pink is a really pretty shade that I will definitely be wearing. Loose mineral shadows sometimes take a little getting use to, but I’ve been using them for years and usually prefer them to pressed shadows.

Retail Price: $24.00

Overview

Overall, I was happy with my box.  The blush is a tad too dark for me, but aside from shade, the box follows the stuff I like and am interested in.  The winner for me was the Liberty Republic Spellbound Nail Lacquer in Premonition, and soon I will have the full Darkside collection to review!  I cannot wait!

Total September 2014 Makeup Box Value: $85.45

Not bad for a box that’s only $36 a month with a subscription!

If you are interested in finding out more about each subscription– check out the Wantable Website! Subscriptions are $36.00 a month per box!  Want to buy just one box to try it out, or maybe send a box to a friend as a gift?  You can do that for only $40.00 a month!

I will have the September Accessory Box and Intimates Box up shortly, so stay tuned.  Don’t forget to check out the giveaway I have going on with Wantable now!  You could win the Liberty Republic Darkside Collection, Sizzle by Picture Polish and a Michael Kors satchel!

Wish I had gotten your box! I got the only light shade in the Darkside collection – a baby pink that is not me at all. I did get a Vincent Longo lip tint that is a nice color, but it’s really a tint – very watery, and it settles into every line. I wasn’t a fan of my box this month, really.
