Press Samples for the Unicorn & The Mythicals October 2021

Happy Wednesday! I’m moving along in reviews and next up I have some offerings for the Unicorn & The Mythicals for October 2021, and the them is Werewolves!
Unicorn & The Mythicals started as a one time box for Unicorn Day that was going to be done annually. From there it morphed into a collaboration shop that opens every other month (it swaps months with Little Box of Horrors)
For this month I have 2 Baroness X items, a Demiflux item and a polish from LynBDesigns!
This collaboration is open from October 29th through November 5th.

Baroness X Polish | Acetone Additive in Champagne Toast
Description: Acetone Antidote is an additive for your acetone to protect your skin from the harshness of acetone. It contains glycerin and jojoba oil to help protect and moisturize your nails, skin, and cuticles during polish removal. Plus, no more ashy, dry skin! Simply shake up the vial and pour into your polish remover. I generally pour a full vial into a 10 oz pump bottle, but I recommend shaking it and pouring half in and adding more if you feel you need more.
The scent this month is Champagne Toast. This is comparable to the BBW scent of the same name (which I actually wear as well) It has top notes of champagne, middle notes of nectarine and bottom notes of black currant.
My nose picks up a light, fruity scent with that slight champagne ring to it to make it a little more mature while still being sweet.

Baroness X Polish | Xpress Drying Spray – Champagne Toast
Description: Xpress Drying Spray is a fine mist that you spray over your finished mani to help speed out the outer layer dry time. You can only use this on the final layer of polish.
This product contains ingredients that bond with the solvents in nail polish to help them evaporate faster, namely disiloxane. This is the ingredient that evaporates and bonds with solvents the fastest of all the silicones in drying products. Drying products that do not contain this ingredient, won’t dry your nails nearly as quickly as Xpress Drying Spray. Baroness X also added camellia and jojoba oil to help hydrate skin and cuticles at the same time as drying.

Demiflux | Holo – Black/Red Multichrome Pen
Inspiration:
Description: The black to red shifting multichrome flakies sink to the bottom when resting so you can have fun playing around, stirring it up and admiring the shift inside. There will be a glass ball inside to help shake up the liquid, flakies and the black irregular holo glitter
This pen features a large glass diamond top with 4 prongs holding it on.

LynBDesigns | Shift Happens
Description: Shift Happens is a deep, blood red jelly base with black to red shifting flakes, as well as silver holograpic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

It’s funny – the 4 items I received are the main 4 items I would be most likely to purchase for myself… especially the pen and acetone additive!
