Valentine’s Day Collection 2016

Top Shelf Lacquer is releasing a 9 piece Valentine’s Day 2016 Collection tomorrow! I have 7 of the 9 shades to share with you tonight! 6 of the shades I received for this collection, and one of the shades was a polish that released originally in the Summer’s Last Hurrah Collaboration box, so if you didn’t get that box, but wanted the Top Shelf Lacquer – now is your chance!

This collection is different than most of the previous collections from Top Shelf Lacquer and has a lot of variation to the finishes. I think everyone will find something they like in this collection. There are straight crèmes, a linear holo, crèmes with shimmer/shift, microglitters and even a glitter crelly.

The French Kiss

The French Kiss is an ivory white creme with gold shimmer and gold micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Red Hot Valentine

Red Hot Valentine is a candy apple red crème. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lady in Red Cocktail

Lady in Red Cocktail is a port wine crème. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupid’s Float

Cupid’s Float is a cotton candy pink creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Love Potion Punch

Love Potion Punch is a rose pink creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Shrinking Violet Cocktail

Shrinking Violet Cocktail is a deep eggplant purple linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sex On The Beach

Sex On The Beach originally made an appearance in the Summer’s Last Hurrah Indie Box and was brought back for this collection!

Sex On The Beach is a stunning dark pink jelly base packed with holographic microglitter. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Top Shelf Lacquer Valentine’s Day 2016 Collection Overview

I’m missing 2 shades from the collection, so here are their descriptions:

Cranberry Cider: A scarlet red crème with a gold shimmer.

Pink Cadillac Margarita: A white crelly with metallic hot pink and black shreds and a touch of scattered holo throughout.

As for this collection, I loved all of the shades – but the cremes are well worth picking up, actually they all are – but I was incredibly partial to the cremes in this collection. I had no application issues with any of the shades and my absolute top picks are: The French Kiss, Red Hot Valentine, Cupid’s Float and Love Potion Punch.
